i mean i have loved overwatch's skirmish mode for years because it lets me really study the maps and see the artistry that goes into them! otherwise... custom games? infinite stairs is where it's at
There are a few things in THE FINALS that brought me endless pain when I played (namely the battle pass, endless grinding, complete and utter failure if you ever play with randoms because you just can't fucking talk to them at all, and the stupid uncanny AI voices ffs they hired actual voice actors to train them so maybe use their actual voices???), but they let me rotate my fella at absurd blurring speeds in the queue and game start, and I will always love them for that
I really liked the video! Just wanted to ask, what types of conclusions are you drawing from each game? What is the ultimate conclusion on what makes a good queue time activity? And where are queue time activities best utilized? If you want to just describe your experience with queue time activities that's great, but I feel as the video would be more engaging if you drew connections between the games you played and the experiences you had in order to make a point, or at least contribute to a conclusive opinion. I think that you are really funny and have a lot of potential, so please don't take this the wrong way. I just wanted to share my opinion on the video because I think the topic is very interesting.
I was just yapping if I'm being honest LMAO. I mean I would say training modes being available in queue is just by far the best option, or should at least be the standard. Lets players practice and of course, you control the buttons you press so it's not like players are forced into the training tool each time they queue up (in most cases at least, smash just slams you in there) I believe Overwatch has the best ones as there is literally infinite variety, you have training, deathmatch and custom games available to you, with certain custom codes being great as training range alternatives (winston juggling codes for example) And as for what makes one, maybe not bad but just not good? Don't be sea of thieves and force people to be in queue for longer. Granted it makes sense in the SoT context but it's just bizarre still. Thinking about it I should've brought this stuff up, just having a more conclusive point, so I'll be doing that for my next one!
one thing i think in game queue activities do is keep u caring about the game and still invested in "playing it" instead of pulling up youtube and then randomly getting into a match, tldr keeps u immersed
I always forget how nice it is being an FF14 player with access to a vast majority of the game content while queuing for an instance, doesn't mean we won't doomscroll while queuing anyway though :D
@@AmeButCool N O. When I loaded up episode Aigis I was so excited, I heard the first like 10 seconds of 3/31 and was like "oh fuck yeah we're so ba- WHAT HAVE THEY DONE??"
Fun fact! The idea of a minigame in the middle of a loading screen has been patented, meaning they (I forgot who) single-handedly butchered the potential of that specific game design choice. PS: they made only 2 games with it as a function like, 10 years ago, wtf?
I would change the font of the "I" in your thumbnail, currently it looks like a divider between the images. I thought you just put "Swear this is Interesting" in the thumbnail & I was very confused. Though that is the reason I clicked... so I guess... keep it how it is :P

replacing squid jump was tragic for the series, but practicing in the training lobby is useful
Lobby is overall a great feature
they should add a little arcade cabinet in the lobby that u can play on while u queue. the best of both worlds :3

One summer evening, a Silver support queued up for deathmatch while waiting for a game
A few days later he reached Platinum on DPS
