I have their 1.25" diameter x 2" tall round extensions on one of my Street Bobs. I went and bought grade 8 steel bolts since they didn't come with the extensions. I put them under 14" MX Lane Splitter bars for a 16" final rise. They've held up great with no wiggle or slop for 4 months so far and I'm pretty aggressive with my bars. They make a solid product
Nice. Yeah I always replace my bolts with grade 8. Especially on the m8 softail a. This stock bolts are gatbage
Glad you are ok! Thanks for the dedication.
Of course 👊🏻 thanks!
Glad you got out relatively unscathed! LA Choppers is a great company!
Absolutely man, could have been a hell of a lot worse. And yeah, I have never had issues with any of their stuff, just did not like a lot of the designs and stuff but this is literally my only option besides different bars anyway for the set up lol.
Sometimes I feel like I watch these just for the intro music 👍🏻
Hell yeah! 🤘🏼thanks man !
Hi. I'm new to your channel. great channel! I own a '13 Sportster "72". I like some of the products your installing on your sportster. I purchased a seat from TCMT. I have an idea for you. instead of using the spacers on your bike, how about a set of motocross style handlebars? you could even get them in gold.
I’m not sure how that would help me? I already tried a low bend from thrashin bar. I leaned too far forward. I currently have the high bend bar which is very similar to the mx style bars you suggested. But they were just a hair too short still so that’s why I didn’t those extensions
Still here in 2024. What year was the 883 you installed these on?
Done it on a 13 and 14 now.
I have the same triple tree mount for my 2018 48 with the annoying built-in risers. couldn't you hypothetically stack two of these extensions on each side and make it longer??
In theory I’m sure you could. But I would never chance that. It would be easier, look better, and probably cost around the same to just buy a new top triple tree mount that has regular riser bolt holes in it
@@RidinDad a good one is around 150 to 200 bucks, plus it's a pain to disconnect everything. Ithere's a different brand that makes the ones you got for 40 bucks. Same material and everything. Pazoma. I'm guessing they're an American front for a Chinese drop ship outfit. I wouldn't be surprised if la choppers just put their name on the same thing and sold it for double
Yeah I wouldn’t trust no name brands with motorcycle controls man. Whether it’s same materials or not. Just me. But that’s my opinion. New triple tree instead of 2 extensions. The extensions stacked on top of themselves I feel would look dumb
@@RidinDad no I'm not going to actually do two of them, it was just a thought. I'm just going to get one. A chunk of machined aluminum from a pretty decently reviewed company I'm not too worried. I'll probably grab some quality bolts from the hardware store tho
Too much effort to replace that and I don't have a proper torque wrench to ensure I tighten those triple tree bolts down to spec. One of these days I'll get a better set of tools
Yeah get some good grade 8 bolts man. Should be fine
Would these work with the 1200 Sportster custom gauge and riser?
If your top triple tree is set up like this where the speedometer is the top clamp and there’s no second riser then yes that’s what it is made for
Will this work for a 2017 Sportster Roadster 1200?
Itll work for any bike that has this style of top triple tree
@@RidinDad thanks
Do they make top trees so that like a 10inch thrashing supply riser set or boosted brad riser set could be used instead of the riser adapter ?? Would need a flat top tree not the rounded one idk where to find one
I’ve not looked in to it yet but I’m sure they exist from one manufacturer or another. Probably could even just buy an oem from another sportster model that has the traditional style top tree mount with the flat area for regular riser mounts
@@RidinDad thanks so much man
@jacobroberts2976 no problem dude!
@@jacobroberts2976have you found one? i’ve had no luck. i wonder if the 48 top clamp will fit
@@meric4921 just found 48 top clamps so far and several adapters for the tree I have now . Found some on eBay but haven’t pulled the trigger on anything yet . Thanks for checking in
Can Someone Provide a link for such Risers that shipps to Europe?
It is for a 2017 XL883N Sportster?
Regards
Does revzilla not ship to Europe??
@@RidinDad unfortunately not.
Thanks for the quick reply
That sucks :(
One video you say they are high bend and another you say medium, which is it?
I was speaking about what I was trying. Or ordered. I had the high bend at one point. Medium bend it what’s is on the bike now
Just stumbled across this video. My XL883L is the same with the integrated top tree. I’m a shorter rider at 5’6”. Do you think getting these risers and a Thrashin’ high bend bars help with the reach? I currently have the stock bars.
Yes this setup will help a lot but the high bend bars done have as much pull back angle as the medium. Just something to keep in mind. All up to personal preference
@@RidinDad Word, thanks for the input man!
👊🏻
What year is the motorcycle/model?
I believe I stated that but it’s a 2014 sportster xl883L
@@RidinDad thank you so much!!
Would this work on my 06 sporster 883?
It’ll work on literally any bike with this bar/riser setup
