  • Yesterday was a learning experience. Should have known better and looked at the tide time better. Got in way too early. And it's not the best place to do that. Even later when I tried to get back in without the tank right at high tide, which I'll post later, I flew right through. I saw quite a bit of fish so I wanted to go between the channel pilings and the main support but with the current it was too much. Such a tight spot to be able to turn around to keep an eye on your dive buddy too. Maybe it would have been better if I didn't have to have the dive flag. I know some probably wouldn't have even bothered with it but you're supposed to have one and there were a couple boats that kept inching into the area when we were there. It amazes me with all the places that a boat can get to, they got to go to the one place where others are and get so close. It's cool diving under a structure like this but between the boats and the constant cars driving over top, it's a little of a sensory overload for me. Also have to be very careful going through there because of the dive line getting caught on the pilings and then all the oysters growing on the pilings are being very sharp. And then there was also a lot of fishing line tangled up on it, that I got tangled up a little bit at the end.
