@@Hazeydaze92 yes, you're right. It seems everywhere man is, things get all effed up! Thinking of an occasional dive in the water, just to get away, if we could breathe underwater without scuba gear, would be so cool!

My family is from Long Island, Bahamas where this hole is. Videos like this are awe-inspiring and also very anxiety provoking. How vast and incomprehensible the ocean is.
It is as much space as what nasa gave us for space. Untill we can explore all the depths of the oceans I’ll never believe a ship can chart the skies. If a telescope can look millions of miles in the dark in space why can’t we see the bottom of the oceans? Go figure
@@daydreamdesignually, exploring Earth's oceans is extremely difficulty. We can see distants stars because between us and then, there's nothing, it's completely empty, there isn't even air. So because of this, the light of that star can travel and reach us. But light can't travel far in the water, about 100 meters (or 300 feet) there isn't any sunlight anymore, everything bellow this depth is in complete darkness. And without light, we can see nothing. And there is another major difficulty in studying the oceans: the pressure. We have air all around us, and this air has some weight, and it causes some pressure in us, but because we are used to it we just ignore. We measure the atmospheric pressure in atmospheres, so at the beach, we have 1 atm (one atmosphere) of pressure. The International Space Station (ISS) is in space, where it is in complete vacuum, or 0 atm. So it has to endure 1 atm of pressure difference to keep the inside of it pressurized. And it is a lot. In space movies, when a hole is opened on the ship, people are ejected out of it because of this bigger internal pressure that pushes everything outward. But on the ocean is different, every 10 meters (30 feet) of depth you go, the pressure of the water increases by 1 atm. So at 90 meters (270 feet), the pressure already is at 10 atm. A submarine at this depth would have to endure a 9 atms difference. So a submarine hull needs to be 9 times stronger then the ISS's. And at the deepest point in the sea, the Marianna's Trench, at a depth of almost 11 thousand meters, or almost 8 miles, the pressure is more than 1100 atm. A submarine to go this deep needs to be more than a thousand times stronger than the ISS. At this depth, each square inch of the hull needs to hold the weight of the Eiffel Tower on top of it. Yes, one Eiffel Tower for each and every square inch of the submarine. This is just completely absurd. Exploring the space is hard and expensive because of the Rocket Equation, and the sun's radiation, and some other things. But the biggest problem in exploring space is just the isolation, is far away from everything, and expensive and time consuming to send help. But exploring Earth's oceans is almost impossible, because of the huge Water Pressure.
When I was younger I use to free drive before I even knew what is was it was such a stress reliever. Working up to holding my breath for 1.5 mins was awesome but then when I was 12 we moved away from the beach and I stopped
