@@tomw3863 ted is a weasel and deserves this. He suddenly cares about his family after he gets hurt? Didn't seem all that caring about his family when he was about to go to prison, and when he's given a way out, he immediately wastes money on himself instead of solving his main problem. Fuck ted.
Great scene. Skyler is horrified seeing Ted, and is about to cry and apolotize. then he start talking, and she kind of accept the monster she's sort of accepted what she did and kept a straight face. At first she might have thought she did it to him, and then when he started talking she embraced that thought
The fake concern at the beginning was just that a front. She was clearly hoping he was dead when Saul talked to her and then when she got to the hospital she faked sympathy to try and get him not to snitch and then after she saw that he was completely afraid of her you could tell her body language changed completely with the cold sounding "good" at the end. She was no better than Walt haha.
@@AustinMichael it's obvious that she was mortified at the thought of him being dead & that he felt sorry for him, but then he showed his fear of her & used that to her advantage.
I like how the carpet was foreshadowed. If I recall correctly, Ted subtly stumbled on that carpet earlier in the episode he fell, or maybe it was the episode before.
Ted was the worst charcter on the show for me he had everyones worst qualities and then some. He was so fucking geedy he wouldn't even pay his taxes with someone else's money. The price he paid for all that was to be trapped in a body incapable of making money.
Catch 22. Taxes are owed. If he paid them off, IRS will still audit and seek out the source of that payment. He would still implicate the tighty whiteys.
I got to say the fact that Skylar knows part of it is Ted's fault and did not say a word after Ted said he will keep his mouth shut, shows she is also good in the game.

"I wanted to listen to Mr Brightside, so I searched for it, and I found out that OTHER PEOPLE DID THE EXACT SAME THING OMG 🤯🤯🤯" That's what you all sound like right now.
It’s a bit more complicated than that. You see, every once in a while, the magnetic pull of seeing Ted getting what he deserves just attracts a certain number of people. It’s a force of nature really.
Ted has the worst story in the whole series. He is now handicapped for life and even if Skyler is shocked by seeing him like that, we feel at the end that she doesn't give a damn about him and that she will surely forget him quickly.

This show moved actually quite fast with lots of plot lines and excellent acting. Because of the law of averages, with that many people in the mix, some were going to be overlooked or underappreciated the first viewing time around. In retrospect, Anna Gunn's acting throughout was amazing, really capturing someone initially over her head to gun moll. From packing trinkets for ebay to packing millions of dollars in cash.
One thing I noticed about breaking bad is how fast paced the events affects are like seriously how can the explosion even be ruled out as deliberate let alone even publicized since its practically been a day and a half since it happened the only thing should be publicized are the number of deaths and who died
I searched it because I thought Ted looked hilarious in this scene when I saw the episode so I wanted to see it again and see the opinions of others on the whole scenario
He was a coward. So, he has family. He should have let the IRS take him and his family's possessions just because he feels like tax evading rather than dealing with problems that adult professionals have to face, or to live with fewer luxuries? That was all fine and good?
Just a thought.. Does anybody think that maybe Ted actually thinks that he was attacked? He’s clearly had a massive knock to the head and was unconscious for what I’m guessing was days. Maybe the last thing he remembers is two people who were sent by Skylar coming into his house, next thing he’s waking up in hospital, paralysed. So when he says I haven’t said a word about what happened, maybe Skylar realised that he genuinely believes he’s been attacked so she decides to roll with it so he remains terrified and keeps his mouth shut which is why she just says “good”. Might not be that but there’s nothing to suggest that it can’t be
Perhaps, but unlikely. I think this was just simply a combination of him putting 2+2 together and being traumatised by the whole ordeal. He was cracking under the pressure of the whole fraud issue, despite his brave face and was in denial. Then he realises Skylar sent goons to his house. He's still in denial at this point but freaking out. Then he flips and tries to do a runner and ends up paralysing himself. I can assume he then went through hell at the hospital recovering. And over that period finally cracks and accepts he needs to give it up. He knows Skylar can and will use extreme methods to get him to do it and he is now handicapped. The whole ordeal has utterly traumatised him and broken his spirit. Whether he thinks he was attacked or not is irrelevant. What matters is that Skylar sent men to his house and he is now crippled for life. My spirit would be broken after that.
Ted was, by far, the most unlikable character in the show. Not in a morality sense, just straight up in terms of "man, I can't stand this dude." This scene is still kinda crazy to watch though, especially the reveal where he's all bald and everything.

The Memes are great but that aside I don't think many people realize how terrifying this scene is all things considered, Skyler approaches gently and seemingly full of regret but it's a high contrast from how open (although shocked) she was when she first thought Ted dead. That said Ted's first instinct is to reassure Skyler that he won't be spilling any beans, he can be mad, he can hate her guts, but all that comes out of his mouth is tunnel visioned into saving his skin and his family's as he says. What's Skyler's reaction to this? She becomes a picture perfect parallel of Walt in this scene, using her well perceived fear coming from Ted to only answer "good". Though she obviously felt some level of blame and pity at the beginning, those emotions quickly dissipate when reminded of the true issue at hand, her well being and her family's. This is then; the moment Skyler became Mr. President.
Damn I always forget about this part of the show. It shows how much Skyler has changed and how ruthless she’s become lol like Walt really rubbed off on her.

You know how well written a TV show is when a character who's not one of the main characters and is only in a very small portion of the show turns out to be one you hate the most and this scene becomes one of the most satisfying of the entire series.
This scene is horrifying not satisfying

Great scene. Skyler is horrified seeing Ted, and is about to cry and apolotize. then he start talking, and she kind of accept the monster she's sort of accepted what she did and kept a straight face. She didn’t do shit though 💀 you really can’t side with Ted on this one in no way shape or form

Whining about it in the comments is hardly better
They meant at the same time. That's the coincidence that puzzles

Brilliant way of making yet another character bald, bravo Vince
Not in a morality sense, just straight up in terms of "man, I can't stand this dude."
This scene is still kinda crazy to watch though, especially the reveal where he's all bald and everything.

@@gmailalt6928 because he was a 100% ass, now he's a veggie
President.
