Why would a female teacher or nurse shame a teenage girl for having a period? They were teenagers themselves once. They probably still have periods themselves now. Why would they shame someone for somethig thats outside the pesons control and that also happens to them too? That makes zero sense to me.

I started getting periods a few months shy of my 13th birthday. From day one, my periods were very painful, inconsistent, long, and heavy. To keep a long story short, none of the usual treatments helped and I ended up having a hysterectomy at 21. It wasn't until said hysterectomy that we had any idea of why they were so bad: I had uterine tumors that were missed on ultrasounds. As someone who had to deal with that, thank you for this.
i was in my 26 when i got my diagnosis of PCOS. i went through my life in this issue until then. im 35 now and pretty much live on metformin for it. i cant be on the birth control treatments due to having had covid and clotting issues. i would get my cycle for 1 day to a whole year+ or even not at all. growing up i was called fat because 1 sympton of pcos is excess weight gain and excess facial hair. my dad always made fun of me for having a “unibrow” as minor as it was or having a minor mustache and i couldnt help it as a kid/teen. i now wax my facial hair because it is how i can handle it. i thank you for helping bringing this topic up
I used to have really heavy and irregular periods, my family was super grossed out by it though, it took me waiting until I was old enough to drive just to get birth control from my doctor so I could regulate it, cause my parents didn’t do shit for me

Hello! I’m not sure if you know but mama owl has been through controversy which lead her to get banned on tiktok. We have no update of her in any sort of social media. But the controversy was about one of her skits from a year ago has came up and become viral again. The video contained Sexual assault of a minor which if it wasn’t obvious but she acted the sexual assault .the video is why people have started hating and saying in the comments “it’s time to pay your penance” which was one of the lines that the R@p3r said.
