It really warms my heart that Shelly and Jared fought so hard for Harlan. A child they didn't know, who had been dismissed as a bad kid, what absolutely wonderful people to have fought for their son. Harlan has always come across as such a nice, caring and kind person. 💙
I wish the system did put me in foster care but my mother didn't want to and went she passed her brother got me and it was a nightmare. I turned to be somebody else and was never adopted by anyone because I was too difficult they said. With saddens me with no family bons till this day. I'm now 40. My so called biodad turned me down when I was 4yrs old. It was heartbreaking 😢
Aww. He could tell he was trying so hard to hold back the tears when they started telling his story. He is such a strong person. Proud of you Harlan.

Harlan, I am so sorry for the hurt you felt when Middles wanted to adopt you initially and the case workers denied that. So sorry. You deserved so much better. Thank God the Middles persisted and you are part of this family forever. I truly hope you find what makes you happy. That is the most important thing in each of our lives. I wish you the very very best.
Fighting for Harlan shows just how BIG Jared and Shelly’s hearts are. I’m glad that you guys pulled a fast one and told the school that the case worker sent you! 😂 How awful to think that they didn’t want him placed. I bet Harlan just hates that place for doing that to him. He seems like such a sweet and gentle soul. I’m glad he’s got a great life now with his wonderful family. ❤

It is nice to see Harlan in the blog once again, as well as hearing his story about the adoption. I think the so-called experts really need a lesson in human kindness. To say those things about a young boy is horrible and I wonder how many other kids were treated in that fashion. I want to commend Shelly and Jared for the love they showed toward Harlan and the other children they adopted. They are truly special people.
That's so horrible what the foster care system did to Harlen! He's such a sweet soul!
That’s not all. Sometimes they misplace files or children and just simply don’t know where the siblings have been placed. There’s so many kids that disappear from the system and it is known they get trafficked, because there is no one to protect them.
Harlen is spelled Harlan.
Oh my gosh, they said WHAT about Harlan?!? That's absurd! Seeing what a sweet personality Harlan has, and what an amazing young man he is, is proof those social workers were complete idiots and that every child deserves a loving family!
I want to see 20 questions about Jared and Shelly i want to know more about thier past, them as people. I feel like the channel mainly focuses on the kids and thats great but the parents matter too and I wanna know more about them and how thy grew up etc.

I am so shocked at the case workers saying Harlan didn’t deserve a family and had written him off to even have a chance at a family & especially a chance at a home with his siblings, that is honestly heartbreaking that they could say/do that about/to a child! Shelly & Jared I am so pleased you went out and fought for him, even if you had to be a bit sneaky about it to start with, needs must sometimes!! x

That’s absolutely awful the foster care system said that he “ didn’t deserve a family”!! EVERYONE deserves a family and to be loved!!! It warms my heart that you fought for Harlan and I’m so glad he was able to be reunited with his biological siblings ❤. I love that you try to adopt sibling groups in order to keep the kids together as best as you can!!
I love Harlan. I love how he’s unassuming and shy. Glad things are going well for him now and he has a supportive and loving family.
I absolutely love this video, it’s my second time watching it. Harlen is one of my favorites. He said s so quiet on camera but man is he quick witted. And so caring with his younger siblings.

@@AZPA-dh6fb Miles is the brother of Harlan, Aubrey, and Addison but it didn't work out with him being adopted by Crazy Middles.
Miles doesn't go by Miles anymore, she came out as trans and changed her name but it doesn't seem that the Crazy middles want to respect that decision :/ by using her proper name or pronouns 😔

It was nice to see Harlan. It felt nice see him talking some. Shelly.. you’re hair grew some and it looks great on you! Could you do a Q&A with Spencer, Cynthia, Destiny and if Jonathan feels comfortable could he do one too. I hope Jonathan is doing well lately. Does Cynthia know how to drive lol? It seems like all of the older kids knows how to drive now. I know she had a bit of fear of driving. Love y’all ❤

How can someone tell a child that they don't deserve a family. That just upset me so much. Thank you Shelly and Jared for fighting for him. Harlan is such a sweet and amazing young man, it's so scary to think what might have happened to him if you both had not fought for him. I think him and Aubrey look a like, especially their eyes. His hair looks great and yes that hair style is everywhere with young guys. Drives me crazy, don't know how they see. lol Thanks for another great video, love the kiddos Q&As. Big Hugs!💜

You are amazing people and parents. That is something I would do, especially after being told a child doesn't deserve a home and a family to love them. I am so happy y'all fought so hard for him. He is such a sweetheart and so mild mannered. You barely know he's around, lol. Shelly "You're stuck with us forever!" Lol, he seems to love that.
I will never understand why ppl who work in the foster care system and SHOULD understand how difficult that is for the kids and that they’ve been thru hard times and TRAUMA... could still dismiss a child and say they don’t deserve a family!! Why is that person in this field... how many other kids have they treated poorly?

I just absolutely love that all your children still come over, nothing better than a parents LOVE! I would love to know how Destiny is doing, and Weston, and all your grandchildren? I love watching Lacey's little girl grow. Thank you for always making me smile.
There's always new details on Harlan's story whenever you film Q&A with him. For the longest time it was "we fought for him" from Shelly and Jared and "They fought for me" from Harlan and yet it was more touching than that. It was so heart-breaking for kids to go through that but it also reveals good to other people.
I just need to stress out the fact that u, Shelly n Jared are such amazing parents.
No matter how old ur children gets/if they decide to spread their wings n venture out of ur household, they often return home to u all because they know where the love is.
As for Harlan, I’ve always adored him because he just seems to have a genuine side to him. Also, if I were to have a boy, his name would have been Harlan as well but unfortunately, I had a girl n so I named her after one of my intermediate best friend name Shayna. It’s been almost 31 years now that I had my daughter n she’s the only child that I’ve had lol. Though I’m 55 n she’s about to turn 31 in March n has blessed me with 4 adorable n intelligent grandkids, we’re still close n to me, that’s all that matters.

I have heard his story multiple times but WOWWWW HOW COULD THE SOCIAL WORKERS SAY TAT?! That he didnt deserved a home?! Who r they to say that? Isnt finding a nice home for these kids their main priority? A home whr they r being cared and loved for. They have been thru so much and they still have to go through all these carzy things. Im so glad u guys went to the school and find him. Omggg.

Jonathan, Destiny, Weston (and his baby), Cynthia, Lizzie, Spencer. Basically all that moved out and don't have their own channels.
I have the same issue as Harlan, my hair grows crazy fast! His smile is everything! I can't believe that a worker said that about him or any child.... I am so happy that you didn't listen and went to meet him! Another video idea would be to say which kids are siblings. He is a growing boy, off course he would say food but I wonder if its trauma based! He has the sweetest dimples! I can't believe he doesn't have a girlfriend, maybe he just isn't saying on video!

What a horrible thing for the caseworkers to say about Harlan not "deserving" a family! All kids deserve a family. I remember when Miles left and how sad that whole situation was. I'm glad that Harlan and the girls are all in contact with their sibling still. I'm curious why everyone still calls them Miles though? Harlan looked like he had a hard time not mentioning them when he talked about being in contact with bio family.
How can anyone say a child does not deserve to be fostered or adopted that is terrible. So happy you fought and won to have Harlan has your son. Blessings to you all.

One of my favorite videos and scenes was when you did the “will you do it” challenge or “you won’t do it” challenge. Harlan had to have a conversation with himself in the mirror. I laughed so hard at that. And when Landon had to pick Masons nose. Such a funny vlog.

I’ve always enjoyed Harlan. I think it was mentioned in the past that he doesn’t like to be on camera. What are his interests? What other type of work would he like to do? My Grandpa, great uncle, both Uncle and cousin all worked construction in Phoenix. Grandpa and Uncle Clyde from the time they came home from WWII until the retired. My uncle Hardy worked until the industry of building track homes dried up in the 70’s. He came to Sacramento and managed a pre fab house building. My other uncle and cousin are architects. Hope Cody and Harlan can find career’s they are passionate about.

Jared, the boys' hairstyle you talked about is all over. We live in the PNW and one of my boys can wear his longer in front like that and another can't. (He has curls and his hair just stands straight up instead of falling forward). I also cut their hair. I took them elsewhere before and found out I do a better job!

They do amazing work, If they seen all the guys hair in Arizona they’d probably say what the heck lol im sure they would love to get their hands on their hair and face lol clean you all up really nice.
