@@cloud5887 congrats it’s an incredible journey holding your child for the first time is like nothing else. Don’t over think it basically the first few months you will be changing, feeding your baby every two hours I recommend doing that in shifts with your partner. Just try to be as helpful to your wife as you can a lot of things naturally fall on her so basically support her so she can care for the baby. Best of luck.
I'm a big baby wearing advocate. It was such a life saver. It allowed me to get things done, my wife to rest, and my baby and me to bond. Also, men, dont be afraid to leave the house without your wife. Take baby for a walk (in a carrier or stroller). Go to the grocery store, etc. i was so anxious and felt trapped in my own house for a while just trying to adjust. Then, something just hit me to start daily walks. In winter! I'll add that I am a professional with a job and my own business (time and flexibility help). Moral of the story: get up and move with your baby.
Thank you for reminding me about this trick. I use to wear my firstborn all the time and he loved it. Luckily, my 2nd son is not as fuzzy, but it's definitely a great way to bond.
It seems to also govern your baby a visual of yourself OR what you might be doing, helping them learn to interact with stuff in front of them in my opinion.
My kid turned 18 last year (time both drags and goes too quickly, especially after you're 35). This suggestion is great because it's a few wins in one effort. First, you know where your baby is and it leaves your hands free. It definitely helps with bonding (I still recommend skin on skin contact when they are really small and you can kick back in your chair). It also scores points with Mom as you give her a break and you can earn brownie points if she is nice. This also is a good habit and being completely honest, this stage of a child being an infant goes by pretty quickly. This helps you be there for more of it with minimal effort.😎👍✨
You can try something that's a hybrid like the Boppy Comfortfit. It's not quite as supportive as a structured carrier but may be more flexible to fit more bodies. The poppy is compact and portable and has been a go to in our family for both kids. -Ben
My wife purchased that godly contraption 4moms swing, I can count on my fingers how many times its been used to not even justify the cost. Don't get it she prefers to be held
@@KindlyChristina I mean if the legs are hanging loose for a long time it causes blood pressure problems. Even for adults. I don't know about babies, should be the same...
@@robrob4730 Not sure on that to be honest. I mean I don’t think a baby should be worn in it all day without repositioning but from what i’ve seen online, most people are concerned about brands that are too tight and constrict blood flow. but babies are also incredibly resilient and smaller than mature humans so blood flow may be different for them 🤷🏼♀️ but interesting point!
He's 3 months old and I am always strapping him in fixing things around the house. As soon as he hears the sound of the drill he falls asleep 😂
My heart can't take it. So sweet
I think it may be bad for the spine to get 3month baby in verticql positions
I’m so excited to wear my baby . Thats like the number one thing I can’t wait to do
About to be a new dad in a week I got a tee shirt with this pouch for baby pretty excited to try it out.
hey brother I’m due in a week too. Any last minute tips?

My son will be here in 98 days. I’m a super busy person so this will be awesome to get stuff done and still spend time with my son

Excellent advice ❤
Due in august, definitely one of my main grabs I’m going to get 👌🏾
This is great for dad bonding.
Nice to see you try short form 👍 spread the knowledge 💪 good luck
Baby is due in 5 weeks, a carrier was my first purchase, I’ve been strapped and waiting for nearly 8 months 😂
Love this!
My son (now 2) HATED (and still hates) being worn.
my daughter is 7 months, she likes it, but she's a TANK. kinda wish my kids were smaller lol
Although this did not work for us, kudos to those who were able to be on the plus side of this.
Why didn't it work?
What is that baby carrier called?
Which carrier do you like the best?
Can I still do this with my 9 month old?
What the name of the carrier you have??
Cool but just be careful with long wearing because of their hips esp facing outwards!!
Having trouble finding one that could fit my body.

You can wear a newly born baby?
There is some rumor that it's not good for baby's legs. Is it true?
i think it depends on the brand. some are tighter than others

Anything for heavyset guys. My doesn’t fit me.
I hear you bro, there's got to be a extension belt somewhere. Like a seat belt extender for airplanes?
The lark has a Version from XL up
All well and good if you don’t have twins 😅😅
Nah just double up, one on the front one on the back
This is not the single best thing to be doing as a new parent….
Thanks for the tip!! Here’s to the future 🥹
