Very nice session. Bottomless envy over that beauty of a carp.
Was a bit of a shock when i lifted and hooked into that one. Thanks for watching
a very nice common carp well done to you
Yeah i remember that was my first carp on the pin. Was a good fighter.
Lovely session fishing a simple method very traditional 👍
Yeah it was a really nice day. First time putting the pin to some use. I think i got a good feel for it.
Its nice to see video footage of someone fishing the same waters as me, well done with the hard fighting Carp on the stillwater ( i quite often use my pin and a light rod there as well, it makes carp fishing good fun again) I must say the rivers with the pin are a bit more difficult but certainly worth the effort. I will be keeping an eye out for new content from you... its worth trying our furtherest downstream section at the moment.. I have been having out some nice chub of late.. tight lines..
Thanks mate. that carp was great, Specially for the first one on the pin. Nice heads up on the chub. I'll be out there again soon, but like most things fishing time is scarce. Tight lines to you too. Thanks for watching.
Well done, i have just got a center-pin going to give it a go this week on a still water i also had a UA-cam channel some years ago respect for doing it as it takes hours to put this together with editing ect
keep going your subs will slowly go up new sub here
Thanks very much. I had great fun out with the pin. Been meaning to get out to the water again. But Life always getting in the way. Thanks again for sticking about. More films should be on the way soon.
Ah that's proper fishing. Small, more naturally kept lake, a simple set up and geese that don't care if an angler's in the way of their squabbling or not! I only found your vids because I was thinking of buying that same one. Now subscribed! How are you finding the centrepin a year or so on?
Yeah really enjoying it. Still takes a bit of work on running water (as someone else mentioned, the larger gap between spinning part and cage can let line get wrapped up and it's a bugger to unwind it) . I've Used it mostly on lakes. But still fun on the silvers and when a carp slams you sure know about it.
@@TheSussexOutdoorsman Sounds ideal. Thanks for the reply. The carp are starting to take off the surface and I really want a traditional setup to target them with. A centrepin and a 1.75lb TC rod is much more appealing than 3.5lb TC rods, those darn bleeping alarms, bobbins, bivvies and more bait than you'd need to feed an army!
@@chrispainter827 thats so true. i just got a second hand 13" match rod that ive not shown yet, but looking forward to putting it to work this year. thanks for the sub and comments.
Hi, what is your opinion about new Redband reels?
I had never heard of them till now. Just looked it up, and if it's the easy casting ones your talking about. I think that is a clever design.
@@TheSussexOutdoorsman Can you give me your email?
@@youngfishy9932 unfortunately i only have a personal email atm. I was thinking of setting up one in connection with my channel. So if i do I'll keep you updated.
Have a try at fake bread made with pop up mix and boilie mix never hear of anyone doing it.I make it and it looks like real chunks of bread.
I'm looking forward to getting out and trying some surface fishing with it. Now the rivers are open again i also need to work on my trotting skills some more too. Many thanks.
The bottom bread mix should be good too.If you try it mate post your results please.once I'm better I'll be out hopefully.Anyway best of luck.
