Thank you for the tutorial, I was able to do the same on my MB with your instructions. While it may be possible to remove the cover without removing the mirror, it is much easier without the mirror because the fingers can get inside the assembly. Finally I experienced that the tab comes out pretty much by itself when pulling the cover

Great informative video. I’m looking at doing the same on a white 2018 GLA but not sure where to source the covers from. I contacted Mercedes but they said it wasn’t so simple to get black gloss so could you let me know where to get them from?

The Cover comes also off without taking out the mirror

Can you tell me where is EGR valve on this car? When i should clean it ?
I do not think it is necessary to remove the glass from the mirror.
The mirror cover would come out in the same way by pulling it up.
Miguel Amaral have you tried this? Thinking about doing it this way.
