Stunning nails! As always and so reassuring to us learners and can I also say well done to your lovely customer! 7 stone 🤩 !!! What an achievement!! ✨🤗
I learned how to do gel nails from you, and now I’m learning acrylic from neo nails, between both of these channels, I decided to go for my nail tech license when I’m ready. After all, it is all about practice and then study for the exam anyway, whether you do it in a school or not, you still have to practice and practice some more.
I appreciate you so much. I’m just learning myself so it’s so nice to hear you say stuff like hey I couldn’t do it well at first either & it took me forever, & now look at you! You’re amazing! It’s so comforting to hear from someone like you that you has the same struggles - I know it’s all practice & learning, but I appreciate you so much & love your videos! I binge them while I spend like 10+ doing my own 😳
Totally all up to practice. I'm struggling with some stuff even now after so many years in industry. Try to learn every day with every set of the nails I do. ❤
Thankyou so much for this Dorota I have been finding it so hard to work on clients with the mask, gloves etc and sticking to forms and tips i was about to give it all up 🤦♀️I found it reassuring to know that even some of the best are struggling too. I think your work is amazing and have learned so much from watching your videos Thankyou xx😊
I absolutely love 💜 your work, you make it look so easy! I need to get an extractor fan like yours, the position of the hands on it look comfortable for the client and also great for working, may I ask where it is from please? Xx
Just little tips, when you file her natural nail do it in one direction :D I am not an expert but I finished my courses :) Ps : The nails are very beautiful!
One direction is a myth 🙈 (it reflects more on filing on top of nail rather than free edge. Free edge I always file both ways. Top of the nail (nail plate) grows like a fish scale so if you file from free edge to cuticle you would lift the scales up and damage the nail plate. It is recommended to file from the cuticle to the free edge -hope that makes sense. I Will cover this question in some videos as it is a fab one :) ) 👏 By Most know nail structure and product chemistry industry expert. “I’ve tested the results by using high magnified photography to record the results using various filing techniques. After examining nail plates using various abrasive grits and nail filing techniques, I did not observe any differences in the condition of the nail plate, when comparing filing in only one direction with filing in a back and forth (see-saw) fashion. This study was conducted on normal, healthy nail plates. So perhaps there would be a difference if the nail plates are damaged. But it appears to be a myth. I’ve seen nothing to support the claim that filing in one direction provides any benefits for the natural nail plate.” ~ Doug Schoon, author of Nail Structure and Product Chemistry
@@dorotapalicka 'Top of the nail (nail plate) grows like a fish scale so if you file from free edge to cuticle you would lift the scales up and damage the nail plate' I didn't know this, *o* I am sure you know better, I just learn that at the course and it was in te theory too, but I will really try the way you do it, it makes more sense :)
Doug Schoon books are fab for nail anatomy and chemistry. And yes they teach me in school to file one way too 🙈 that was like 15 years ago. They also teach me c-curve is on top of the nail -which is not. As on top we have apex, and c-curve is our nail tunnel.
Hi Dorota . I love you videos always . I am new in doing nails and just want to ask u a humble question . When do u prefer to use tips and when to make a gel construction. 😍 it takes me so much time to place to form and build the nail i was wondering if i can switch to tips so i can be faster 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
What a beautiful set. I haven’t used gel since I qualified a year ago but it seems like such a quicker service than acrylic and your designs show that gels definitely are not boring. I think I might have to order some to try. Do you find the fibre gel to be better and longer lasting than gel and does it soak off or is it file off ? Xx
Fiber gel is a sculpting (buldier gel too) it is file off. I don't use soak off gels for structure and long extensions as wouldn't be strong enough. Soak off gels are good for natural nail overlay as more flexibility
Sweetie my fingernail hits this red around the cuticle rest of the nail is okay I'm going to try to take the little bitty e-file and fall up under the cuticle where it is Timely thick I couldn't get it with a file💅💣💯💯💯🤔
You have to carefully file it off without damaging your cuticles or nail. Cuticle bit is very helpful if you have an e-file. For next time I suggest you keep a bigger gap from the cuticle to prevent this from happening.
@@dorotapalicka yes I put that bondir on it and then I put the jail and the jail just sucked up into it my fingers aren't sore it's just I rub them wrong with the file but as far as my nails or not sore thank you my sweetie💅💣💯💯💯😚❤
By baby boomer, do you mean old people? I am an older person, me and my 5 older siblings are all older than the baby boomers. I have two younger siblings that are baby boomers. I have beautiful nails but I feel left out here.
This is by far the best baby boomer tutorial with gel. Thank you so much for making this video!

Would like to see those butterfly nails 😂
But I really like these babyboomers ❤️

When do you apply the tips versus sculpting the nail?

I love to watch you work on clients.....start to finish. Beautiful set of nails. Can you do more clients but with forms soon?
Forms are more expensive and most of my clients choose tips. But if get chance then yes :)
