Unit Levels: 197-198
With the introduction of the PC client, I can finally manage a consistent 60 fps which translates to a massive DPS increase for units that currently have their damage tied to framerate (Modernia is the biggest example). This allowed me to push through Nihilister and several Hard Campaign missions. Gear, Skill Levels, and Cubes used are at the end of the video.
Strategy:
PHASE 1
1. Manual Laplace and Dolla to build Burst in time to hit the first boulder
2. Always focus the boulders down; do not let them hit if you can help it
3. When Laplace is Bursting, always focus the turret to pierce the head for extra damage
4. Outside of Laplace Burst, focus the feet
5. Red Circle patterns are either in a Box or an S. Try to pop the circles as fast as possible to maximize uptime on weakspots
6. Swap to the unit getting hit by the gatling gun (fires twice per cycle). DO NOT ALLOW COVER TO DROP BELOW 30% BEFORE THE FIRE BREATH. If the same unit is focused by the guns twice, get out of cover and take HP damage to protect the cover
7. Don't break the gatling guns, as this causes the guns to fire 3 times instead of twice
8. Finish Phase 1 with Modernia Burst to preserve Laplace Burst for Phase 2
PHASE 2
1. Always focus the boulders down; do not let them hit
2. Always focus the head, especially with Laplace Burst
3. Time the 2nd Full Burst as both sets of missiles launch, destroying them all with Privaty Burst
Holy Overload gears...
Here I am, sitting with 130k+ but I can't do shit because in the month and a half of me beating all SIntercept except train, I haven't gotten a single piece of DPS MGear. Every single piece has been for defender or support. Weeee.
i guess overload gear is a must, cant beat this boss on time with just normal t9 gears..
I am currently trying to even get to the boss at 126-127.7k cp and each stage is a nightmare to survive or do enough damage to clear. The worst is I can only clear some interceptions, and the stronger I made my Nikkes now I can't clear chatterbox again anymore, and I don't understand why it feels like I do less damage as I get stronger.

what nikke can replace litter and dolla?
Hi I'm just wondering how you select your team comp. Why Dolla over Rupee/Guilty or Modernia over Scarlet/Drake, etc. Is it just because of cp? Grats on your clear.
Thank you! It's mainly due to Power Level as this is the team I received the most spare bodies for since the start of the game and ended up sticking with. With the release of the PC client, there are a good number of teams that can clear Nihilister now from 115k-130k, even a jank team like the one I run.

This is far from a jank team bro lol It's legit but misleading if you think any person with this lineup without your gear and lb characters will be able to clear it
I never said that anyone can beat Nihilister with the comp that I run regardless of gear, skill, and LB/core investment. I stated that people are now beating this stage with teams as low as 115k power, so even an unoptimized lineup like mine is able to clear it at a significant power level difference.
I've got level 195 units and am struggling with 19-15 currently. Don't have enough T9 gear for a team or any overload gear for that matter though so I guess that makes a huge difference.
You should focus on trying to full clear as many Special Interception bosses in a rotation as you can. Getting your entire team in T9 gear at a minimum will give you the biggest power spike; bonus points if you get useable MT9 gear on your main squad you can overload and start rerolling.
@@memry7594 Yeah I've been doing my best in Interception every day just for that. Hoping that outpost defense update they talked about comes soon since datamines suggest it'll make regular t9 equipment drop from outpost defense with enough levels. That might help too if I can clear enough.

dang, i need overload gears, i only have 1 for modernia and only 1 buff roll lol
Fight seems really unfair? Like even if i intercept all the balls and block at the right times. I find my units normally one of my burst 3's still takes loads of damage. Making it impossible to do without a healer. Bringing a healer obviously means less damage...

new best run 46 health bars, no idea what you're supposed to do with the balls can't intercept them all.
Do I really need OL to be able to beat Nihilister? I have 0 Dorothy, 1 Liter, C1 Marian, 2 Scarlet, and 0 Rapunzel, with a total of 140k power, lv 217, and complete Lv 5 T9 gears, but I still couldn't burst Nihilister down in time. Does playing on phone matter as well? Your interruption part appeared much faster than mine.
May I ask why you didn't destroy Nihilister's Vulcan L and Vulcan R? It looks like in the clip you deal enough damage to destroy them but instead choose to keep them.
Normally she fires her vulcan at your team twice a cycle; this is when I'm switching to the unit being hit to manually cover them. If you destroy one of the vulcans, Nihilister will fire three volleys instead of two resulting in significantly higher damage to the team. Since I was running without a healer, I needed to minimize the total incoming damage, so I elected to only hit the vulcans when I had Laplace Burst up for the pierce. Otherwise, I focused the feet covers until she phased into Phase 2.
Just asking, due to some circumstances, i want to follow like you that i dont want to level past 200 to defeat nihilister. I building almost your team but i do not have the necessary core level such as dolla and privaty 0 stars, liter 2 stars, modernia and laplace is 3 stars. do u think this is doable? or its because u have the cores that the damage is able to finish the boss?
It's almost definitely due to the cores, skill levels, and OL gear. There are definitely more efficient teams to beat Nihilister at low Power Levels, namely teams that utilize Novel in the Burst 2 slot and Alice if her skills are high level. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend using my team if you don't normally use those units.

I still don't get it... I have around 130k CP with same team, but i still don't have enough time to kill or at least destroy one head.
What did i do wrong...
Without a video, I can't tell you if you're doing something incorrect from a mechanical standpoint, but I do have OL gear on some of my units which increases the strength of the units immensely while not impacting CP. That could be a difference maker if you're struggling to phase Nihilister in time to beat Phase 2.

Now I have the same problem as you. I don’t understand why this video can inflict more damage than me even though I have more CP and ATK stat than him. But my Modernia doesn’t have OL by the way.
