It has this magnificent blend of 80% mountains, breathtaking landscapes on both mainland as islands, 16.000 km of crystal clear coastlines, spectacular nature, perfect climate, incredible culture and unparalleled history. Then heavenly food and warmhearted people. And also the ambiance of the light with all the surroundings and peacefulness is magical.

Hi,my birthday was last week so we decided to go Corfu,greece.Being here It was lovely.The new view of corfu,Greece it was beutiful but the language seems hard.I am surprised how Corfu is still beutiful even tho ppl throw plastic in the sea you guys are lucky ._.

I am glad you had a good time and every place has its own beauty, there are many more places in northern Greece worth to discover during the winter as well. I personally collect the plastics I see on the beach, but some people are too dense to realize that each one of us has a responsibility to preserve the nature of our world.

As a Turk, I had never thought of going to Greece for a holiday, because I thought that people did not like Turks. I watched a few interviews with the Greeks about the Turks. I realized that they (in general) think that the enmity between the two countries, like us, is political and historical. The world is global now and human life and peace is the most important thing. I want to go to Greece with my wife and child and hug your people wholeheartedly. Greetings and love from Greece.

Absolutely stunning. Well photographed and edited. The shot at 2:02 one of the most spectacular island perspectives I've ever seen. Corfu is indeed one of the best of all the Greek islands far more so than the mostly barren Eastern islands. HRH Prince Philip was born here in 1921 and was exiled to Paris with his parents the King of Greece Andrew and Princess Alice (both of Denmark lineage) in 1922. Of all the Ionian Islands Corfu probably has the most British influence All the Ionian Islands were occupied by variety of nations for all their history, notably Venice and Britain for extended periods. Note the probably Venetian Bell-tower at 7:26.

I recently returned from north Corfu. I was in Acharawi, Kassiopi area. But I can see the western part of the island is very beautiful (Rovinia Beach, Iliodoros Beach), so next time I have to visit these places 🙂
