I just got one identical to this off ebay. It was $35 and has the gauge mounted on top instead of being part of the hose. It feels well mad and sturdy. Not very loud. I chose this one because it has 2 cylinders and you can connect it directly to the battery. Its not too loud. I deflated an 18" tire to 5lbs and it got up to 30lbs in 5 minutes while it was on the car(CX-9). The hose didn't get too hot and the cord at the battery only got warm. The gauge isn't accurate. Its off by 5-10lbs. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to use it often. It's great for a family mechanic like me who gets called 4-5 times a year to fix a flat. I also have a good tire repair kit I keep in the car. So I can plug a leak and fill the tire on the spot.

Yeah - are the pistons and crank made of plastic? Are there actually two pistons (there are definitely some almost-identical-looking devices which actually only have one piston).
. I bought a pump just like this one, although I could not say it was the same make as this one, I took off the plastic look alike cylinder heads and found only one side had a small pump fitted, and the other side was empty, so beware when thinking of buying a so called ( TWIN cylinder ) pump.
It is lukewarm because the metal cylinder and aluminium head all are covered with plastic which looks like aluminium fins. Actual cylinders are just steel cylinders and the head is just a piece of aluminium with no heat dissipating fins. They get very hot and actually that plastic shields prevent the cylinder and head from dissipating heat which is detrimental to the Teflon pistons.

I've taken 1 totally apart and shocked by how bad quality these twin cylinder Chinese fake pumps are to real original with metal cooling finns. some fake pumps have only one side cylinder and other blanked out . Inside these cheap fakes have cheap plastic conrods (not metal ) and plastic piston(not metal) in metal liner to more plastic to outside. These cheap pumps have nothing to real metal air pumps. And won't last long pumping 4x4 tyres most of the time

It does get hot under severe use for sure! I have been using it quite often and haven’t had any issues yet. Like I said in the review, it’s not meant to be a high duty cycle machine. It’s good in emergency situations but I wouldn’t use it as a daily compressor.

If your going down the road and have a flat this aint going to help you a much, unless you have some way to fix the flat then use this to air it up...I carry one these little compressors and also carry a tire plug kit..........
Good plan! This little guy honestly is good for around the house and inflating balls and such on vacation. It does what it needs to a out as well as all the others on the market.
Nope dont want to listen to ten minutes of compressor noise just 30 seconds or so to allow your viewers to make an informed decision as to wether it is too loud for their needs or not.

Great review. 2 things to keep in mind, jack the vehicle up before inflating it and use a regular tire gauge to check the pressure.

it can fit for SUVs or trucks most of the use is to inflate tires from 24 psi to 35 psi after off road driving which will be in a minute for each tire

Ok so the hose gets hot so it reads a hot tire pressure so cold temp would be about 30-31 psi not 34-35 we did not hear how loud it is when running.

Yeah i kinda wish i left it in. It is noisy. I think all of these small compressor have the same annoying sound.

Use a water venturi if you need a vacuum.
But, if you want to bleed beakes, just buy a vacuum pump.

There is no tank so no. There's is not enough CFM produced.
I use it for fj tire it was 17 psi 4 tire to 32 it taks 15 mint and in the payer say it take 4 mint toyota compressor take 20 mint and less price

It is rated at 150 p.s.i. ,yet I could not pump my GMC Duramax tire past 50 p.s.i...complete junk.It got too hot after 10min.
