      +xxlslam1 name another dominant center that has both physicality and superior shooting skills. Boogie can shoot threes, post up and slash to the basket, both him and Howard are the most dominant centers since Shaq.

    the difference between this howard and howard now is that he was getting good looks on the post and his teammates were feeding him the ball. so many times now in houstan, dwight be calling for the ball but the rocket players just be chucking up 3 point shots. lol

      @RRRRRRRRR33 6 років тому +2

      Much of his athleticism is gone, his game solely relied on athleticism. Dwight has no skill at all, he is not as clumsy and talentless like DeAndre or Big Ben, but he is not that better either. You don't feed a center that shoots bellow 45% from the field, 50% from the line, this doesn't make any sense. The perimeter play is more reliable than Dwight at this stage and that is sad to see.

    Many comments here sees this and says Howard was treated unfairly by LA, Houston, and the Hawks and his teammates should pass him the ball more. That's BS, this is a fluke game and it even highlighted his weaknesses rather than strengths. Most of his points came from the same offensive move (over-power then dunk or dunks from offensive rebounds), the few hook shots he made are not crisp, his post-up is weak he can't even lose his defenders, and his free throw shooting is horrendous. His defense and rebounding is elite but he didn't focused much on his offensive sets that's why he didn't became the player that he was supposed to be.
