Hi there, make sure that you control everything at least twice, because of its all electric ~ 230 V AC ... and remember to old saying on the big billboard next to the hairpin curve and the abyss? "Drive safely! Death is soooo permanent."
We will have breakers and fuses to cover the electrical system. These will run from a brand-new consumer unit. Thank you for your interest in our videos
DAY AFTER DAY THE PROGRESS. I'LL GIVE 1 TIP ABOUT TREES, ON ONE OF THE BRANCHES IF YOU TAKE OFF THE BARK AND WRAP IT WITH EARTH AND THEN WRAP IT UP WITH 1 CLOTH, THAT BRANCH GAINS ROOTS! THEN CUT FROM THE BOTTOM AND YOU WILL HAVE 1 NEW TREE! HUGS
Myself and my husband are about to embark on the journey of living in the van and looking for a place either in Portugal or Italy .I love your channel you are both appear to be embracing your journey .Looking forward to seeing the next instalment x
It looked like the large headed screws holding the box to the wall were holding the front plates off slightly. I assume your going to plaster so some of that gap should dissappear. With the electrics coming into the house. Is there a requirement to have a consumer unit. With various trips etc. Good job so far.
@@Iwantalemon ok, but just to let you know, we saw someone who installed English sockets in their guest room and thought ‘that’s a cool idea’ until we were informed that if anything went wrong insurance wouldn’t pay out as it’s not to code! Everything we have seen in Portugal has conduit for all electrical and network cabling. But not sure about renovations? Keep on rocking though, look forward seeing it develop 👍

Thank you. We will certainly try that one.
I USE A TRANSLATOR, I DON'T KNOW IF IT TRANSLATES CORRECTLY
Thank you for the effort. Perfectly fine
Coming along nicely and you're learning more as you progress slowly but surely.
Thank you. Your comment is so correct
I would say the progress is rather swift.
Thank you. This is only one room though, there are other rooms that we haven't touched yet
Looking good, not long now until the fun can begin with decor and styling the space! 😁😁😁
Look out for us shopping at a vintage store video coming up soon
Great progress. Looking forward to watching the next videos. Greetings from a Portuguese from Lisbon.😘😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you. It's great that the Portuguese people are watching our channel 😘

Some expats in Portugal upgrade to modern consumer units. As this is from scratch, I'm guessing that's what will be installed in this restoration.
Yeah, this room will be plastered
It looked like you were just passing wires through the wall? In our build it all had to go through conduit 🤔
We just followed our English electrician told us
