I would do wireless fire alarm devices if it was absolutely impossible or impractical for a wired system otherwise definitely not, wired is superior and always will be.
So the important part what do the electrical cords connect to the camera faces forward and doesn't address which wire goes where on the back of the pull station
SLC communication voltage is usually between 13 to 17 V during operation but can be up to 32 V maximum fire alarm is life safety so it needs to be bonded/ground
Hello!! Really cool back box I use more the SB-10 although that one is metal! But this one is really nice!! Stay safe and keep having fun!! ...
I have this exact back box for the outdoor pulls on my system!
Cool
Nice! Now it’s not ugly anymore!
Nice, interesting how you need low voltage grounding there.
Great Video
thats a large difference from the old backbox. looks alot cleaner too!
Cool video! Keep it up!!
Awesome! I want to get one of those soon
He’s keeping it
I knew it was to small! But I didn’t know you would remove it.
It just didn’t look as nice it was meant for 270 SPO or EST Genesis
Hi! That's great! 😎 👍
Wher I live normally if a bg-12 is on a back box it’s normally on a 4x4 double gang

I have a small fire alarm collection, and I like buying a matching backbox for my devices is one is available
Very cool.
What is that little box next to the pull station with the LCD screen?
It tells me the outside and inside temperature
Hey do you know if I can light up it’s led in it back with out panel how do you wire it with out panel make vid How pls
There isn’t a way it lights up because it’s addressable on a addressable system
@@nics-systems-electric well I do have the nbg 12 LX but it’s ok it don’t light up right?
@@Lighting_chris11 It needs an addressable panel
Why dont they sell sets!??! 😣😣 been going nuts figuring all the parts they need
What is the voltage at the pull station I thought it would not need a ground do to low voltage

I got a Edwards 276B RSB
With some other types of pulls, when you open it sets the alarm off. But not with these type.
Nothing to do with age there are brand new pull stations that when you open them they activate
It depends, if it has a button it will activate on open. If it has a switch, you have to manually do that.
@@DanTDMJace yep sir
Yes
It’s hard wire a fire alarm
Cool
