Kennedy Creek in Washington is a prime chum salmon spawning ground, attracting tens of thousands of fish annually. Located near Olympia, it offers a scenic nature walk with an interpretive trail and estuary viewpoint at the Kennedy Creek Natural Area Preserve. The highlight for many is the Kennedy Creek Salmon Trail, open on weekends during November for close-up views of the spawning salmon.
