Charlotte Mandell is a translators of many books, including books by Mathias Énard. Through Charlotte's translations, Énard becomes Indra's one of favourite authors and he's been encouraging every reader who comes to Transit Bookstore to pick up a book by him.
In this video, we learned about how Charlotte started as a literary translator, how her career progresses and her upcoming books of translation.
Charlotte also asked us about our preferences in books and the books we curate for #WarandPeace. In the end, Charlotte gave us book recommendations that are related to both war and peace.
