- MAJOR SPOILERS FOR RETRACE 101!!
Yeah, um, retrace 101 hurt like a mother fucker. I am not ready for this series to end. More than that, I wasn't ready for Oswald's demise. I loved him as a character and his bond with Lacie. He traveled all the way back in time to kill her and just wasn't able to because he had too much love for her. I love the Baskerville siblings, and their story was so beautiful as much as it was sad. I included Alice a bit too seeing as she's Oswald's niece and her existence caused Oswald pain after Lacie's death since she looks so much like his sister. Through Alice, he sees Lacie, and therefore the torturous love he had for her.

They're born a slave. They got adopted into Baskerville fam. Oswald is strong, that's why he is chosen as the head and for that he has to send Lacie into the abyss bc of her red eyes that could connect the world and the core of abyss. Lacie is his beloved sister, his only family. At first, Oswald was hesitate to do it, but Lacie encourage him saying it's for the better. She left with a bright smile but after she left, oswald regrets terribly for his desicion.
I agree. Both were indeed very tragic and victims of society's twisted views.

While Jacks love for Lacie was an obsession, Oswald was the one who really loved and understood her. : ) Oh the feels.

Jack genuinely did love her too. Oswald let Lacie die, accepting her fate a the only option despite vowing to protect her his whole life. Despite that, I still like him AND Jack who also pissed me off in many ways. No need to be selective though.
@@sunnysodapop Jack was obsessed with her after she met him because she had given him a reason to keep living in order to see her again. Eventually this turned to hatred because his obsession caused him to do anything, terrible things, to see her again. However, he kept close to her because she was the only thing that made him feel alive.

in the end, Oswald/Glen just wanted someone to stop him killing his sister

I like the plot twist where before Lacie is slowly being sent to the abyss, she was looking at someone and said she's sorry. At first I thought she was saying sorry to Oswald at that time but she was actually saying sorry to Oswald in the future where his spirit is in Leo's body

I can't believe I only just saw this, oh god. This chapter broke my heart (like they all do at this point lol), but in a somewhat bittersweet way. Oswald has always been one of my favorite characters; his love for Lacie has always been so strong, and he regrets what he did to her so much. I was so upset when he "died" (even though technically he's already dead), but was also happy to see that he was at peace. His face at 2:23 wehhhhh. ;_______;
