Got this recommend on YT. A french girl talking about Pandora Hearts and Vanitas no Carte? This has to be it! Such a nicely done video! Loved the editing and the summary of Jack. I just can't take it... this manga NEEDS TO BE ANIMATED AGAIN. The OST is the GOAT. Ik ik AoT, Naruto, FMA etc. all have OSTs but this hits so different to me. I guess maybe because i can relate to it as well. Anyway please continue the grat work! 🤗🙏🏻

I guess thats the tragedy of things, glen thought that revealing the truth to Jack would be a good idea and he will find closure in . He didnt understand how fuked up what he does was. Then Oswald probably thought jack had closure , Jack probably believed that what he did would be meaningful for lacie or he might have been doing it for himself to get closure. Then Lacie thought distancing Jack would help him get over her since she was predestined by the Baskervilles to be cast in to the abyss. Jack's character is fascinating because of the potential of the character, he orchestrated multiple events that came to be before the events of series while maintaining the image of a hero. Thus we can assume two things that he had potential for leadership and was highly intelligent, another interesting detail that most get wrong is his true thoughts and character. Oswald described him as a glass of water, only thing that reflects will be urself wen you observe it. From this and what Jack describe himself as is a form of imposter syndrome and losing ur idea of self (Who do you think this happened due to). Thus in my opinion I doubt if he really meant what he said to Oz, he probably thought that there is no point in contemplating on what ifs and instead gives Oz the chance to keep hating him cause it will be simpler for Oz for him there isnt really any purpose to continue living. Also people get one more detail wrong, plunging the world into the abyss is an actual self-destructive thought at least in the metaphorical sense that we find in clinically depressed individuals. Additionally about the part that he was living without stress or responsibility, its another facade since such a persona would make him more likeble and easier for him to create relationships with individuals. Also let me call BS on Oz , he starts crying when jack ask him to kill on command however we have seen, and it is mentioned that Lacie has done her share of blood baths. Other than that interesting story and characters which cumulated into a true tragedy. Bugs me every time I see something like this since I speculate the what ifs.

Yes, Jack's character was so unexpected and surprising for me the mangaka did a good job. Please make one for Oz, Alice, Gilbert and Break they are my favorite characters. I will be happy if you did most of the characters.
The plan is to make a video on all of them at some point ! Sadly, I don't think I'll have time to work on character Deep dives until summer... I'm so glad that people are still discovering this manga ! The same author made on another ongoing manga called "Vanitas no carte" if you still crave for more !

I really loved Vincent, he always was one of my favourites, especially because of his interactions with Ada. Now I am re-reading the manga and only now remember how villainous he is at the start! He's so interesting

En général quand quelqu'un sonne aussi bien français... surtout sur les R... ça peut laisser suspicieux. Et puis j'ai l'impression que Pandora Hearts est assez populaire en France (même si ce n'est pas l'oeuvre qui revient dans le plus de discussions actuellement, je connais pas mal de personnes de bon goût qui l'ont lu ou regardé)
This manga having only 8.5 out of 10 in MyAnimeList just isn't right which is only at rank 99, I feel it should have atleast 9 out of 10. I feel like alot of people just saw the anime, then decide to review the manga too without ever finishing the manga which is just wrong. Super underrated ;0; That makes it even more underrated cause some people would look at what new great manga to read, but then never sees Pandora Hearts cause it's at rank 99. So alot of new reader would look for something new to read but never give Pandora Hearts a chance to read. ;0;
