I listened to this song while waiting in hospital for surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. I was broken that day, but the spirit led me through this song to rejoice in my lord for lots could have gone wrong, I was still alive! Even in loss, grief and sadness we can look to our God, he is our strength and life. Thank you for listening to the Holy spirit and making this song. So so blessed.

I know it may have been too painful to write out or to say but I think you we're probably thinking as you wrote your comment that you were waiting in surgery to remove a baby, your baby 😭😭😭😭😭
I am so very sorry you went through that experience physically, emotionally & spiritually. I acknowledge that the loss continues and always will. You wanted that baby here!! I am thankful that we don't mourn as others who are without Christ and without the knowledge (not only worldly "weak" hope) of our impending reunions. That does *not* minimize the loss you are grieving now but gives us assurances of a future together with those we have lost.
I am sorry for your loss. May God grant you children to raise here on Earth. May your testimony bring others to Jesus and put stars in your crown, and joy when you see your child growing up in Heaven.
I came to a profound realisation the other day. My Mom (now 79) had a miscarriage with her first pregnancy (1970). They were able to see that it was a boy. My Dad passed away in 2008. And I realised only the other day that he and his first-born son were reunited in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. What a joyous thought.

in the context of Ps 118:25 "this is the day that the Lord has made" refers to the day that Jesus was crushed for our transgressions. Its also likely the ps that Jesus and He's disciples sang after the first communion. A bit of an emotional roller coaster to then sing "let us rejoice in it". And to think Jesus understood what He was singing.

I had cervical cancer while I was pregnant with our 5th baby, and they wanted me to have an abortion.
My husband and I said absolutely no.
We trusted the Lord.
I had to have a biopsy each month, and it was spreading
After our baby was born, I had a cone biopsy done to see how far the cancer the cancer spread.
The Dr. Called me a week later and said, "I have good news for you. The cancer has retreated."

Whether the day turned out as you expected, hoped and wished or whether it tore your heart to pieces, it is the day that the Lord has made, and we WILL rejoice and be glad in it. Habakuk said, though the fig tree shall not blossom and there be no fruit in vine, no herd in the stalls, yet WILL i rejoice in the Lord, I WILL joy in the God of my Salvation. Yes use that WILL to rejoice. It's just as easy as getting sad and despondent, but more rewarding for us and dreadful for the slimy devil.

How do they do it? Every song is better than the last. Somehow they avoid sounding like a rock band. Our church band is trying to look like a rock band. Some of the members like to hop, even though, ironically, no one in the audience tries to hop. These Australians are wonderful people. God bless them. 5-5-22 from USA
Yes they are not trying to sound like rock band - which is always a good thing. There are just too many churches especialy those mega church ones. They take the spotlight to them instead of making Christ as the central focus.

regardless of where my feet lead me to, what places I go, I know that God still in my journey, there will be some people will test your patience and a stranger unexpectedly accosted me for no reason that makes you feel so strange, I was new to the house I am renting with couple of tenants in the apartment, a person outside the house told me he was the owner of the house which I never expected to have a little conflict but I ignore to have a conversation with him, I dont know if he's crazy, but his son also ask him what's wrong? It makes me a little agitated staying in this apartment, I felt uncomfortable with that, I went back to my room, I listen to music and this music played, it seems I just have to vent out for something and feel okay for a moment. Thanks for the music, I really like this band, since then I heard their music for the first time it makes me feel just fine. :)
