I need to share this. This last weekend I went to a men’s encounter in southern Alberta Canada. The event itself did not set me free from my past but God used the event to open my eyes. The song by Cityalight All my ways are known to him, was introduced to me their. I fell in love with this song. I have been so programmed by other religions that only old hymns are worship songs. I was so impressed with This song when I got home which was a 10 hour drive, I told my wife I had something I wanted her to hear. I played it for her and she said oh. Yeah I listen to that everyday when your at work. I asked why she never told me and she said “ cause I know you hate Christian music if it aint a hymn”. She said she didn’t want me mad at her playing songs like that in the house. What a fool I’ve been. I’m so thankful I went to the encounter and that I allowed God to change my life. Also that your song had a small part in it. Thank you.

I love how God used music to touch our hearts. Check out Rend Collective and Robin Mark. May God continue to draw you ever close to Him. I came out of a very legalistic church where it was considered a sin to listen or worship to anything but Hymns. I see now that God is so much bigger then that in how he reaches others to himself. Blessings to you and your sweet wife.

Did you know that some of the old hymns are built around old tavern songs? I love that you're open to the newer stuff now, and I don't believe it matters one little bit what the song is built on or around (my church is a partly renovated Night Club!) as long as the message is glorifying God you sing it out and that is worship!! A contemporary worship station very similar to KLOVE brought me back to church after years of doing things MY way. We tried a new church, they were doing these songs, I recognized a couple of them, and I was done, I told my wife who had never gone to church regularly that we were home. And now I look back, about 12 years ago, we still attend the same church, and I've played guitar in the worship band for almost all of those years! Let the Holy Spirit move and be blessed! 'Shout to the Lord , all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy! Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and melodious song, with trumpets and the sound of the ram’s horn. Ashuni Chachei We where living with my parents on there farm and the bank wanted to foreclose and I quoted a bible verse to the bailiff than 3 days later there was a warrant for me and my dad. They claim it was a death threat. So 6 cops raided the yard and found some guns and some fish that dad bought from a fisherman.

This wonderful song reminds me that God is with me. Sometimes I feel like Jeremiah as God sends me to various places to proclaim His Word. Discouragement often stalks me as I seek to bring light and truth as well as heal from my own wounds. This hymn of praise really helps on the difficult days.
I am finding my way to God after a long haitus, personal struggles and anger against God. This song and the band is another bridge that is bringing me back to God. Gb City Lights.

I am too anxious about my future as I am too weak but when I came across this song all my anxiety vanished into air and the peace went running through me from heaven. Can't stop listening to this and now I've decided to cast all my cares on my LORD and move on as he direct my steps... Amen.. :-]
I'm also in thus type of situation. Seeing all my friends working and I'm still unemployed I sometimes feel low about myself. Asking myself why I'm stuck like this? But I'm always reminded by the Holy Spirit that God is in Control and in his timing things will work out. And that I should focus on God. Which gives peace. Thank God

We do this one in our church quite a bit. I love it. It works well with our sovereign God doctrine. The first time our worship leader led us in it, he had our youth pastor come up and play counter melody to the piano, it was great. However, God is even greater!
The guitar part in this is absolutely gorgeous. Lyrics remind me of Ephesians 2:10. "...good works (ways) that God has prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
