I had a gateway pc ,looked just like this, but bigger, crazy to think Packard bell had the same design
I think most of these companies had the same blueprints.
Nforce Core Duo Quad system , you need to install the Nforce drivers for Xp, never included in the install. Install AMD Now too, the drivers to control the fens.
I found almost the same Packard Bell in Amsterdam, a bigger case, 2 Flip door for the CD-Rom bays, rest is a bit the same, NEC case.
Thanks for the info!
Nice build, I've just put a 710 graphics card in the system I'm building, it's a i7 with 16GB ram, aiming to do some of the newer emulation on it as well as some older games.
Hell yea! Those 710's are great. They are also the most affordable and, always in stock in comparison to the 3000 series haha.
People make fun of the GT710 but I've got one (by MSI) and it runs older games really well.
yea man, it aint a bad card
My dad has this and still uses it to this day
Your dad is a good chap!
Great video. I want to use that case for micro atx : 22.5×18.5×6cm can you tell me ist that possible ? Thanks
Thanks! I don't have the case anymore but as far as I can remember : this is a proprietary case, meaning, it's custom built for all the stuff inside. Also, you can't really remove all the metal parts. I wouldn't recommend it for building in another system as you would also need to replace that special purposed and fitted fan with one which has more power.
Yesterday I installed the geforce 210 and i'm super happy because I can play crysis at 720p not like the geforce 7100/nforce 630i
Noooiiiceeee
Thanks for the video! How many FPS were you getting with the GT 710 and at what resolution? I'm planning a similar build but am debating between a new GT 710 or used high end graphics card from that era.
I didnt ran an FPS program beside it, but it depended on what game. Most of the games shown in this video ran at 30-50 fps.
Nice! Got the exact same pc. Was my parents daily pc for 10 years. Already cleaned it but cant even play runescape on high settings so will buy this gt710. Also a samsung ssd is on its way.
Yes, those will do just fine. Especially that GPU upgrade will kick ass. The GT210 is, meh. But that 710 is a lot better. But if you can get your hands on a 1030, that will be high tier.
@@fistbumpbros does that fit? And will the psu be able to handle it? Can you specify what exact model 1030 I would need?
@@kakbalhaartjes this case has enough room to fit the 1030. I used this one : ua-cam.com/video/jNOpoyGZHxI/v-deo.html
I dont know if the PSU can handle it, but it doesnt need an external power cable like more recent GPU's after that. So i think you'll be safe.
@@fistbumpbros hmm will compare the dimensions first. I should be able to calculate how much watts I need right
@@kakbalhaartjes yap!
you put the cooler for cpu upside down....
Haha didn't even notice that one, sharp! Didn't affect the system though, still worked like a charm 😬
I have just got this pc with no graphics card. What would be the best one to go for?
Something low profile and low in wattage. Like the 710-720 I used in the video.
I have a similar pc with a pentium and integrated graphics but I couldn’t crack open the case
The screws on the back?
The temperature that the speedfan shows for the graphics card starts from 43 and goes up to 55 after 5 minutes, nothing is working on the computer, then the temperature goes up to 65 if you browse without watching videos!
With a video, the temperature goes up to 70-75 and can stay like that for an hour or two and it seems to me that the computer turns off when the computer goes above 80.
My Spec:
PC Model Packard bell imedia S3210
AMD Athlon II X2 215 processor 2.7 Ghz
RAM: 4GB
GPU: Nvidia Geforece 315
ACPI x64-based PC
Check your cooling paste.
how did you remove the front plastic, to release hard drive tray?
There are clips on the sides which you can pry.
what do i do if i have the same pc but it wont show a picture on the screen. cables and monitor is just fine
Check the RAM modules. Take them all out, re-fit them. Try re-fitting all loose components as well. If that doesnt work, the MOBO is the problem.
I got the iMedia s1800, My dad uses it to play Imperivm and AoE sometimes xD
I wonder if there's a way to upgrade the CPU (Intel Pentium E5500), Now I'm looking for someone to sell a 710 where I live (Lima)
Sure if you can find a suitable CPU with the right socket, you might.
I have this pc I can't boot it into windows can you help?
How's that?
I remember having the exact pc before and it was really good for gaming i installed viruses on it bc i had no brain im planning to get the exact same model again
Ah, youth. In the Windows 95 days I got a daily blue screen of death, so I was re-installing Windows almost on a daily basis 👍
I have a packard bell imedia s3840 with a gt 520m, that gpu produces 100fps when i play minecraft but i would like something more modern, can I upgrade that Graphics card?
Hell yes, a GT710 will suffice!
@@fistbumpbros cpu??
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.50 GHz
1 Processor, 4 Cores
@@fistbumpbros thanks 🔥❤️
@ youre welcome!
Does a gtx 1030 low profile fit in this pc
Absolutely. I have a 1030 in my mini ITX Rig. Especially when you rip off that piece of junk plastic.
I’m running a Q9550 at 3.6GHz and a GTX1650SUPER. Very fun except that it doesn’t have SSE4.2 or AVX… Otherwise wonderful!
Ok
I have both the PC and the monitor lol
Someone with the same taste!
6:03 Ik spreek ook Nederlands. Maar, Ik ben van België.
Cool, cool
What can I do to remove that noise from the psu fan?
Replace the PSU. In this desktop however, the PSU looks proprietary though, so finding a replacement is tough.
I mean from the psu fan
@@xxg.tester7851 I know. The power supply.
I think it's better oppening the psu and cleaning the fan
@@xxg.tester7851 that is a possibility. There might be a mechanical problem though. In an upcoming video I replaced the back fan because it still made noise. It was broken.
Fk I love this video
Haha OK! 😂
Is that a sfx power supply?
I think it's something like a mini ITX one, SFX is a bit smaller.
Bit late, but bro put the CPU fan back upside down...
Eh
i had this piece of shit when i was young
Nice bro 😆
مروحة البروسيسور ليست في وضعية صحيحة
In the BIOS you mean?
I have the Packard Bell imedia s1800 xd
Same aesthetic, but different specs I guess?
@fistbumpbros I don't know, I'm not very into this but my PC USES Windows 7 pro 64bit, Intel core 2 duo, 4gb ram.
@@_keiichi17loquendo_yours has a spec upgrade 👍
@fistbumpbros live in South America, which are Latin countries
@@_keiichi17loquendo_ these PCs have different specifications around the world. Same looks, but a little different on the inside 😊
download windows 7 by dis pc case
I like XP though.
with thi pc you can run gta 5 low settings
I think so.
Maybe next time add better background music.
Who are you?
