I love your African Grey Parrot! I always catch myself saying these words around my house; with my siblings whom I've gotten hooked on the same video!!! Thank so much for this video it's Hilarious*~
You're absolutely right - Greys are very demanding, but also incredible birds. They can be very loving but also very loud. Please check to make sure that a Grey is right for you and that you can care for one before you take on the responsibility. If you can they can be wonderful companions! P.S. sorry for delayed responses, will try and get a new video up soon.
I have to tell you that this sublime video is one of my all time favorites, & I never tire of watching it..over and over and over...grins [Seriously, it never fails to make me smile] I have a strong sense that you are a very kind and loving family, so it's no wonder that Sybil seems like such a healthy, happy and *busy* girl...I just LOVE how she *hams* it up with the beautiful music playing softly in the background...hoping this finds everyone happy and in good spirits~Thanks for sharing!!!
OhMyGOSH, I just LoveLOVELove your Sybil...I never fail to CRACK UP at some of the random stuff *Gray's* come up with when they're chattering and having fun, and your girl's no exception...I could watch videos of her all afternoon.. Parrot Power to you, LUVIE!!!
I love your bird.....birds are always my favorite...this one..i can watch her for hours...:) she is adorable..take care of her...:) thanks for the video....
my bird seems to love the show Web Soup and Cops. she always seems to laugh when someones hurt or says "Get DOWN" when something happens. and she makes the sounds of Geth and Reapers from the Mass Effect series.
My cocky boy LOVES this vid! It gets him chattering away every time! I use these to teach him new stuff (which is how he learned to disci diva dance while singing "bow-chica-bow-bow..." Lol). Try it! Show ur bird some of these vids & see what happens!
what a beautiful Bird Sybil is. Absolutley adore the sounds she makes, really did brighten up my day. Im hoping to get a Male African grey next year when i move out to live by my own so im getting all the info on them that i need now so im fully prepared! I hope mine turns out as beautiful and smart as Sybil! x
@Painflame ~ I did a ton of research before selecting the parrots that was right for my family and spent a year waiting for him to be hatched and every weekend for 4 more months learning to hand feed him and bond before he came home. I do not regret one second of it ! Kato is a joy and blessing and sometimes a snot, but we love him dearly... Invest your time and you will be rewarded....
Xtra cool - i finally get to get my African Gray back - my friend's died on her and when i went to Seattle she came through my kitchen window and took mine cause she missed hers so much! its been a year now and i'm going over to her house to see my bird!!!! I watched him hatch from his egg and hand feed him while he was growing up - its cool to see yours!
OH my god, I just lost it at "Parrot... POWURR" and "I got... BLUE FEET" and then at 1:15 haha your congo african grey is wonderful, we also have an African Grey timneh and she loves to sing and talk as well :)
My grey loves imitating all my other birds, but especially the tiels. Louise says bird bird bird over and over again too! She adds "red butt" in there too.
hehe. My aunt out west has a Grey that has copied the cockatiels too. it will screech 3 or 4 times, then mutter under its breath "not a cockatiel, not a cockatiel" because it is frequently told this. =D
I'm so sorry to hear that, I know how much they can touch your heart. It sounds like you had a great relationship and that's not something that will ever go away.
Birds are easier to train when they're alone, They entertain themselves just fine. As a bird owner I have to spend a lot of time with them. If you have the right environment they are great pets who by the way live as almost long as we do. So if you ever want a Grey, Plan on caring for them for a long time!
@@bddion yes, more entertaining and convenient for you so it can talk and entertain you. You put your wants in front of the bird. They are taken away from their natural habitat, a huge jungle, and put in a tiny cage, the least u could do is give them a companion bird
@@Makaylah13 Some parrots bond *too* well with their humans and develop jealousy issues when another bird is brought into the some. Some are just aggressive towards other birds. A good owner also doesn't keep their bird in "tiny cage". Having one parrot is fine if you're willing to give a lot of time and energy into them.
I love hearing a grey with a British accent. Awesome! I have my grey on my hand watching all these videos. Occasionally he'll make remarks back to them.
I am very interested in getting a bird just like this one. Is there anything you can tell me? What is the best age to get one? Anything I shouldn't do to prevent bad habits? Stuff like that. That is on gorgeous bird!!! Is it hard to teach them to talk? All I have ever had were finches and a cockatiel. I know you have to spend a lot of time with your African Grey, I'm a at home author and would love to have a companion like this.
they mimic the voice of whomever they learn stuff from.. that's why parrots that live in a house with multiple people will say stuff that sounds like a completely different person.
Once again, [sorry...can't help myself...grins] I LoveLOVELove your videos...There's seems to be something about your sweet little *Sybil* that just floods me with happiness... I find everything about her totally endearing...While I don't mind watching your videos over and over [and i DO...haha] hopefully you'll post a new one at some point...Hey, I'd be happy and entertained if she were just sleeping...[seriously] ...grins "Parrot Power," INDEED!!! Hugs, from across the pond in Cincinnati...
For 28 years, my African Grey Angel, was my friend and always loving companion. Where as most Greys are known to bond to one person, Angel was just as friendly throwing kisses. Last night at 10:30 I played with her for the last time. An hour later, she was on the bottom of her cage, still warm, eyes open. I will never forget. I will never forget the friendship. I carried her down to the Hudson River (NYC), wrapped in a warm shirt and let the tides take her to her final resting. Miss her soooo!
Love this bird he is awesome. Wish I have him.🙏💕💕💕💕💕
The cockatiel screeches followed by "Shut up!" is very relatable to bird owners.

They do more than just mimic, my cockatiel actually understood enough to have conversations on the phone.
OH my god, I just lost it at "Parrot... POWURR" and "I got... BLUE FEET" and then at 1:15 haha your congo african grey is wonderful, we also have an African Grey timneh and she loves to sing and talk as well :)
"New bird smell!" Is that like a new car smell ? xD

I think every animal should have other animals of their own kind to keep them company.

OHMYGOD, when this little darling says, [and SO sweetly] "want chip," my heart melts into a puddle of love...grins [your videos are d i v i n e!!!]
Why do I spend so much time looking at parrots on UA-cam.? That's the reason up there. Its fascinating.
I love hearing a grey with a British accent. Awesome! I have my grey on my hand watching all these videos. Occasionally he'll make remarks back to them.
@Painflame I LOVE how you have Pride & Prejudice playing in the background - lol

My Grey absolutely loves Sybil. x3 He's actually learned a few of her whistles!

I think that bird's smarter than me to have remembered all those things she's heard!
Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett in the background?! So love Pride & Prejudice. SO British!
Love how she imitates you playing drums. She'd make a great beatboxer!
Wow, I also have a Congo African Parrot, have good ideas on what 2 speak, thank you!
What an incredible girl parrot!
I love this bird.
3:00-3:40 is so funny! I think I heard "touchdown", "what happened" and "have you been bitten by a dog?"
The bird is like a audible record of what transpired. *annoying screeching* "Shut up!" sounds like it happened more than a few times...
i love this bird!!! for anyone that has an african grey would you recommend them for a pet?

Genius!
Wow it's amazing how I could instantly recognize a cockatiel just by her mimicking their sound xD! They are so accurate!
He went all the way back to his baby days
