Nice head-to-head comparison. I am a category-5 NA fanboy, so I went with their figure. However, MS gave them a pretty good run for their money with this figure, especially in truck mode.

I always find it interesting how different engineers tackle the same character design in such different ways. I have the MS and am very happy with it.

MS alt version and NA bot. I have the MS Huffer. IMO, It seems they have different philosophies, MS alt versions proportions and esthetics are more realistic in the detriment to the bot mode at times, while NA seems to go for toon/toy accuracy no matter how weird the alt mode looks. Man, MS or NA needs to put out Ultra Magnus again, the only one available is the NA clear Magnus. Thanks, Deluxe!

Newage periodically reissue their figures, so it's best to keep an eye out.

While I prefer Newage in most cases, I do collect both. I don't like the head sculpts on many of the very old magic square molds and the lack of paint hurts them IMO. I like their added articulation though.

Now I'm curious to know which you think isn't. I never collected any of Hasbro's legends, so I don't really know what size that would be.
In my mind, it's Newage, but that's who I go with, as they remain consistent with their scale (according to listed heights, based on the cartoon), but their first release was a larger Bumblebee, so may legends should be larger.
