There's other cool ski resorts close by in your area you should check out such as Squaw Valley to the south off highway 89, Diamond Peak to the east off of Tahoe Boulevard, and Mount Rose resort to the north on Mount Rose highway.

Pro Tip: At Northstar if the gondola line is to long at the bottom take the village express lift on the side of the gondola.
