So like you may have seen in a previous video, with the JBL boombox 3 you are mainly paying for durability and portability, but if you want the best sound, then you’re going to be better off just getting either a Partybox 320 or a partybox 120. But if you have more money than sense, some people have asked how do two Boombox 3’s stack up to either a Partybox 320 or a Partybox 120. Well, I just happened to have a spare Boombox 3 lying around… so today we’re going to find out.

I prefer the bass response of the 310 over the 320. The bass on the 320 has a thin & narrow range, & seems really tight in comparison to the 310.
The 320 will last way longer than the 310 because of the swappable battery
310 wasn't the subject of this video but I agree about the bass part.
Those are just stories for the kids. Many users (like me) of both 310 and 320 have already confirmed that this isn't true. 310 has too much bass and because of that it sounds more muddy. You realize that when you listen to them live. You can't hear that sound difference over YT and microphone. 320 has a more clear and crystal sound with perfect bass. People who have 310 won't admit that 320 is better but when you have both of them you see that new technology is better though.
@@VishhkoI have them both and when EQ’d properly the 310 doesn’t sound any muddier than any other JBL products. The bass does have a bit more oomph on the 310 and it’s odd that the 320 lacks the same level of bass response.
the 320 does sound better *overall*, but the 310 does indeed have better bass response.
@pirjoajonen lol, those kids today...it's not everything in the bass. You can then just buy another big subwoofer and enjoy in the bass and not hear anything else. 320 has a better sound overall, and that's the only thing that matters. And 310 wasn't the subject here.
Would love a review of the BB3 Wifi and a comparison to the original.
hi gymdaddy , do you want to do a review for the sony ult wear?
Would you review the LG xl9t. Looks like a real competitor for the PB710
Great review - I really hate that party boost disables the EQ on those models, I’m thinking of selling my boombox 3 and two pulse 5s for two boombox 3 Wi-Fi models since AirPlay to multiple devices don’t doesn’t disable the eq and then you get the added bonus of atmos and the extra clarity with the Wi-Fi version
Two boombox 3 WiFis sound very clear and both have plenty of bass if you place them in the right place. They have a good deep bass. Don't be excited about Dolby Atmos since the sound output with Dolby Atmos activated on these speakers is lower than without Dolby Atmos. It's pretty annoying to have to increase the volume when a track has Dolby Atmos and run to decrease when the track changes. Also a good setup is a boombox 3 Bluetooth version and two charge 5 on party boost.
I want two 120's in stereo mode for versatile home/office stereo? they are on sale for 300. I can use one for work portable or in car. I am about to push checkout, but I am hesitating...
I would like to buy a second bb3. I've had one for a year, and the bb3 already costs €330 in Lithuania
Could you possible do a short on how to connect the PartyBox 310 to the JBL boombox 3 with an aux cord? (Or with 320 if it’s the same) I’ve been watching videos and have seen people doing it but I can’t get it to work for some reason. I can connect them both to my phone at the same time but only one will play at a time and the cord doesn’t connect them. Although when I open the JBL app for the PartyBox is does say it is in daisy chain mode, yet no sound comes from my boombox.
Do not connect the boombox to anything with Bluetooth. Just connect to the party box with Bluetooth then daisy chain it to your boombox. If you are connected to both in Bluetooth it would override the aux input on the boombox.
Please can you do a comparison between JBL Xtreme 4 vs soundcore boom 2?
Love the videos!
Boombox has lower bass , 40 HZ vs 45 HZ 110 or 310 but the new version 120 and 310 has the same HZ as boombox
It looks like once you go bigger than the charge 5,every model between that one and the 120 is a shitstorm in term of overpriced
Give me you boombox 3 man🥺
Sony ult 10 overkills jbl 120 and overkills jbl 320
Sony Ult Tower 10 is to be compared against the Jbl Ultimate and not with these smaller boxes...
The 320 has a thiner and weaker bass than the 310!
I have both models and I think there is something wrong with your hearing aid if you think that the 320 has worse bass
FIRST!!!
