thanks hero but this should be consumed in its entirety
TISM might suggest the only appropriate timestamp is 50:58...
@@accordingtohonda4308 and then regurgitated
Found TISM through a Wikipedia wormhole initially about a completely unrelated topic and I’m so happy that particular string of curiosity clicks brought me to discover this Aussie gem
You and me both dude
They were the best thing this country ever produced. Shows were brilliant. Lyrical geniuses.

Shoulda been Australia's entrant to Eurovision...
@@jimstewart4342 I'd argue for The Waifs, but not too rancorously. TISM speak of a time when we liked intelligence.
34:28They got so excited they sang the 3rd verse instead of the 2nd. Then you hear an audible "what?!" when he sees the actual lyrics on the cards. TISM is never a bore.
Ha ha. Ron also came in too early for the 2nd verse of Ol Man River.
TISM a brilliant band from Aussie
I was at this gig. Fucken awesome memories
I was 14 aswell at this gig...I found a homebake vip sticker and was in the band vip area behind the stage!!
Yep I was there somewhere down front in the mosh. completely off my head too. good times!
I wanted to go to this so badly as a teen, i didn't get the change, thank you for posting this .
I'm in there somewhere. Good memories.
the best Australian band ever.
It was so cool being with that many ppl all singing along to every song. And the moshpit went nuts. It was intense
Bloody miss when Channel V was this good.
If you never saw TISM play the Prince Of Wales St Kilda in the 90s you missed out, sorry...
ua-cam.com/video/8WrB4iP-7R8/v-deo.html
used to see them play unannounced warm up shows at the barwon club in geelong. was never sold out.
Oh god, how pretentious...
Great memories. I used to love seeing these guys play.
Crackin' show. Full points to the moshers!
TISM GET ON SPOTIFY!!!!!!
They are
Ahh the memories I loved every second of it, if only I was in a clearer state of mind
awesome ...
Fine stuff.
They have a new live album, "I'd Like to Concede That We've Lost the Election", recorded at their final show in 2004 and out in December, to kick off a vinyl reissue campaign. There's also a joke album with nothing but silence called the "Omni-Album" due out at the same time.
Anyone get around to listening to the new election defeat album? It sounds very crisp and clear (contrary to the press release - David Williams must have had shit in his ears when listening to it), exactly like you're in the Earthcore audience watching TISM thrash out their last show ever.
I bought it without owning a record player, but I'm looking forward to one day popping it on and hearing a new TISM recording
I am the dork in the front row at 8:40 shaking his hand and attempting the self-pic. I waited on that punter barrier all day to be front row for this.
massive envy to those who were here!
LOL at the make-up advertisement after Death Death Death 🤣

Damn fine!
Is this the highest quality?
They would be so proud of this comment.
Strewth Kev fuckin eh!🤪
Best fuckin version of satd nite palsy
Damn, Humphrey can play them drums.
A little unknown factoid about TISM as to where the band name came from? .. It is taken from the words of a Canadian James Joyce scholar going by the name of Professor Herbert Marshall McLuhan a portmanteau of his adage "T...he medium IS the M...essage."
It comes from This Is Serious, Mum.
acronym - not portmanteau - a portmanteau is a combination of two words like Yanklish or affluenza
When will we see a TISM reunion show.
Would be nice, but Humphrey's busy with the Disco Machine and Jock and Leek have the Collaborators going, so I doubt they would, but you never know.
They're playing the Good Things festival in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in December.
Who remembers throwing bottles or coins at Pauline pants down... 🤣
FlemishDog now has Shoddy. It's on youtube.
I was working on horse from dalby moto but now I'm aboriginal homeless
thanks!!! I'm in heaven. Surely someone has a copy of Shoddy, so I can die a happy man?
Ahh, I remember when V didn't play shit music on an endless loop
"huoh" - jock cheese
He is begging for cash for his solo album right now. There's a crowdfunding page.
Tampaterry54 Still as powerful a statement 20 years later. A timeless message for humanity.

Cheers man thatd be great thanks mate
why isnt this here
The world needs TISM but we must remember TISM are shit
the one guy at the protest 15:25
Okay. This sucks. I'm outta here
Whatareya?
So in the lyrics of "He'll Never Be An-Ol' Man River" did Tism actually predict prophetically that Michael J would also die of a drug overdose waaaaay back in the mid 90's????? The talent is more than musical me thinks...
My favourite parts are when Ron is too busy dancing/stage diving/stumbling around drunk to sing the right bits. 😀
Umm what a fucking awesome upload!! Woohoo TISM what a band
These guys are something else hahahah just legendary
I was 10 years old in '98, didnt get into TISM till later on, I'm 23 now, I met Humphrey a while back after a DC3 gig. but fuck me id still love to see TISM.
Why haven't I seen this I always looking for TISM. Years ago n beginning of you tube and its infancy there was no TISM I couldn't believe it. Thank you thank you. More for my favourites

This band is fucking amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally enjoying this band all over again! Thanks for this.
great day I was front left of my guts
ditto
Did you get to see TISM unmasked?
Not here but I unmasked Ron when he stage dived at the UQ leg of this tour a few weeks previous. Still got one of the "spikes" that I pulled off the mask. Gave him back the mask, which he put back on, then some other prick stole it a few dives later.
Yes. Twice. Backstage at the Roxy and in their recording studio. Of course now you can see HUmph unmasked all the time.
lol davo dinkum
I was there - recall Pauline Pantsdown followed it and some in the crowd did not enjoy - got that on tape? Shambolic.
Damn wish I was at that sounds like fun
Coins n bottles were thrown till it fucked off... 🤣
