Well, this is the solution this guy came up with. Standard procedure is to connect to + at the battery, like he did, and connect negative to the chassis. There's a screw on the right side that I used. Easy peasy.
you did not need to take those nuts off. just disconnect the positive from the battery, push top backward so it comes off from its tracks and take off battery cover. you will see the other terminal on the far end of the battery.
