Always enjoy the in-depth reviews, Mike! Awesome video. As far as the new clone body, the articulation is miles better. The deep cut elbows with butterfly joints make the ability to aim down the sights far superior to the old clone body. Although I will say the new stormtrooper body was much more of an upgrade compared to the new clone. -Justin
ngl hevy is a great character. Especially when he said "No, I don't." I really want to see hevy in a 501st clone trooper armor to honor his sacrifice. The only thing that is holding back hasbro from making this character is that he doesn't have any identification like tattoos or something in his armor like echo that will differentiate him from the other clone troopers

I love this guy, I’m in New Hampshire, and since I started collecting BS last year (thanks to your awesome videos) I’ve learned we are like THE last region on earth to get new figures… I luckily enough met a very nice target manager, who I asked about this wave one day and he was nice enough to grab Echo, Kenobi and Anakin from the back a few days before they could technically put them on the shelf. Bought him some pizza the next week to say thanks
This version of Echo is one of the favorite Black Series. Definitely understand why Hasbro started using for soft plastic for kamas with a lot of colors, now that you pointed that out. Would love for you to review more clones, especially the new Bad Batch Shock Trooper and Battlefront II Jet Trooper.
Nice to see the clone head painted at last. Spot on Temuera Morrison portrait. I'm puzzled though in the Attack of The Clone Visual Dictionary the run of the mill clones are played by a different actor as they're not straight up clone of Jango. Only the elite or officers like Cody, Rex, Gree etc should look like Jango. Top looking figure but as you say Mike it should have more hand options: 2 trigger finger hands, fists and gesturing hands. "Forward men!" Re: the knee pads. I have a couple of really good knock offs. The knee and elbow armour is in a tougher plastic. Less rubbery. I heated the knees and prised the knee pads off. They have a rectangular peg which I snipped off the pad. I then filled and painted the hole and now I can position the pads where I like.🙂 The knock offs appear to be straight up copies of the Hasbro Clones. I guess you'd have to be more careful with the official ones necause of the soft rubbery plastic.
@@Commander_Shepard. Thanks for the info. Yes I know they're all derived from Jango, but in the Visual Dictionary it states: "accelerated growth shapes clone face differently from clone source". Boba is unaltered and grows naturally so he looks just like Jango.
you can cut the knee guard from the thigh armor so it would positioned correctly. also the chest armor is a bit skewed to the left, i pry the glue under it on my echo with a knife and glued it back
Echo is pretty good for sure. The 501st is getting a good representation. I think I’ve read rumor of Jesse coming. Not sure Fives gets made anytime soon.
I might just be crazy but I remember arc troopers having heavier Kama's than say Rex. I always thought they looked heavier but I could be wrong too. Great review though. I have been looking for this and Obi Wan myself (I managed to get Anakin) but have not found anyone either than Anakin and Hawk here in Canada.
You say the grey is a boring plastic..but last night grey was at a party and he was the light of the party.. not boring at all..he was even twerking and handing out shots..You go grey plastic!!!
Love it Mike great job. I have never worked so hard for a figure. My Target canceled my preorder (how a preorder gets canceled is nuts). One day I went 174 miles to 9 Targets and still was empty handed. A friend ended up getting it for me 6 states away. I sent Hasbro a Strongly worded (no swearing they won't respond) they acknowledged that were issues. But I know they will do it again. Super popular guy poof it's exclusive. I love this figure and worth the effort. But geeze it should not be this hard. Look forward to more reviews.

Its good but, I'm collecting figures near or just after order 66. So I'm gonna buy his Bad Batch version. Waiting for a Jesse version of this.

No, the mid 20s Clones were played by Bodie Taylor, who was depicted as a younger Jango Fett. They're still all Jango Clones.

Echo is the only figure I didn't get from this wave. It sucks hes so expensive on ebay I want him bad clones are my favorite.
I got 2 of them from separate people they both ran me $60 each but I definitely don’t regret it

That is the phase 1 ARC helmet. Phase 2 ARC helmet was just a phase 2 style.
