Arnie Barton - sculpting this owl from a roadside log using only a chainsaw in under 15 minutes!

This was the Speed Carving Challenge Arnie Barton took on - and I set a timer on my camera running throughout the video so you can see exactly how he got on.
Based near the beautiful North Norfolk coast in the UK, Arnie is a self-taught sculptor. Check out his website roadsidecarver.com - his work will astound you.
He gets his wood, as the name says, from the roadside - looking out for trees being felled, verges repaired, houses and gardens renovated. It's 100% homegrown wood, sustainably sculpted with his genius chainsaw skills.
Arnie attends events to show his work, like at the Aylsham Show where I came across him by accident - and will also do commissions. More details are on his website, or details can be found at the end of the video.
