Don Henley is a world class lyricist. I love how his lyrics paint images in your head in a way that is almost cinematic. Hotel California is like this too.

I have spent so many years contemplating this incredible song, as I know you have. back when i first met the man who became my husband, we were goth and it was all... that shit. but we loved you. no one got it. he died two years ago. i wish we'd discovered this cover before he died. he would have loved it. i can't say how many times i've played this since then.

Great performance. I am surprised Don Henley and his team of 60 people hasn't had this shut down. He is like obsessed with artist doing his tracks, Rick beato had an issue with him, Henley shut Rick Beato down; he got a strike on his account.
Apparently Don Henley hires a team of 60 people, that sit in a room 5 days a week from 9 -5 searching social media sites and stopping anyone who performs his tracks. It's a real shame, as Don Henley is such a great song writer and artist .
