- A 'day in the life" of the Beatles. On Sept. 12th 1963 the Beatles worked on three songs; "Don't Bother Me", "Little Child", and "I Wanna Be Your Man". If this video which is featuring "I Wanna Be Your Man" we can see the Beatles in the studio with more emphasis on Ringo who was the lead singer on this recording. Great educational video whereby you can see what the Beatles were playing, what they were wearing, and the style of even their hairstyle. A fabulous historical document of a specific date in history and important for scholars of music, fashion, and history. I hope you enjoy this video and will subscribe to my channel so I can keep producing more educational viseos like this one. Thanks for watching.

@@blindowlvideos5813 , Thank You so so much for all these Beatles videos/songs, I am 65 now and I remember my Mom waking me up to see The Beatles perform on Ed Sullivan, my Mom was only 20, and she Loved The Beatles and bought “me/her” the newest album for my birthdays and on Christmases , Thanx Mom forgetting me into The Beatles when I was only 7 years old 😍
Is Ringo using 3 cymbals in this session? Unusual configuration for him at this time if that's the case!
Yeah, I see three cymbals plus the hi-hit in these photos. So yes.
yeah, 2 cymbals attack, 1 Ride, and the Hi hat
John: Ringo, my boy. You had a great voice.
Paul: Yeah, you sing better than I and John
George: You should write your own songs.
Ringo smiles hopefully
Ringo: Really, guys?
John, Paul and George: Nah!
THIS SONG WAS JUST RIGHT FOR RINGO BACK THEN.
Is it me or did the song´s tempo pick up just a fraction after the solo?
Been a long time since I've heard this song. I don't remember it being so busy, a lot going on in it for being such a simple song.
I thought it picked up slightly during the solo, then regained it after. It does sound busier, yes. Tey were recording on four-track and had to bounce the tracks a lot, so this would often result in little bits getting lost in the final mix.

Well, I like it. I also wish Ritchie had sung a few more tunes throughout their recording career.
A song the boys later gave to the Rolling Stones!
Actually they gave it to the Rolling Stones first. Then decided to record it themsewlves, adding insult to injury by having Ringo do the lead vocals. Gotta love John and Paul for doing that.
@@blindowlvideos5813 Actually it was a stroke of genius to have Ringo do the lead vocals on this song. It was perfect for him!
Is this just the track using out of phase stereo to pretend they are different takes?
No Rob..Some are the actual finished version, some are studio outakes.
No sign of George Martin.
I have two other videos I made from the same date and he is on those (Little Child, and Don't Bother Me). I have to recheck them. I will try posting them both in the next week or so.
@@blindowlvideos5813 Thanks for your reply Joe.
At 1:14 over George’s left shoulder you can see George Martin seated on a chair.
@@gmetfooney78 you’re right he is there. I should put my glasses on.
I checked the Little Child video I made and he is there a few times (George Martin).
These are staged photos for fans and unsuspecting dupes.
Not sure about that. The reason is because when were they ever published? I don't think many fans ever saw these, so I think it was just the photographer trying to get the best shots he could get at the time. I don't don''t think much of these photos are staged. Yes some are, but there were several hundred taken at these sessions on September 11th and 12th, I don't think the beatles had time to stop, and pose for photos when they were in the recording session trying to make an album, certainly not a couple of hundred times. That in itself would take an entire day, and then no recording could have occured for the album. So no, most are not staged when they are playing instruments. A few of the group shots that day....yes. you would be right.
Should have binned this awful song never play it hate his voice 💩
Even the Stones version was worse than this and that takes some doing
I think I’ll have to hit you Alan - Ringo Starr
