Wish you'd shown us a little more about wiring the LED to the circuit. Did you need some special power supply, for example, or did you have low-voltage wiring already, or ...? Trying to get my head around some of this, and the shelf-mounting part is not the part that puzzles me.
The low voltage power supply comes with lighting. I used a 22/2 thermostat wire from lights down into cabinet and connected to power supply. Switch controls and outlet under cabinet 👍
We use the original granite brackets to set benches and seats in showers. And they have 2 different kinds that go on the side of studs and then more shallow ones for concrete wall application because there's only 3/4 of an inch. These look like miniature ones of those. Are you sure they weren't supposed to be on the stud first?
