- Here is a 0-60 of my 2012 3.6 v6 Camaro after I upgraded to a ported 80mm throttle body from a Camaro SS. This is still with the v6 cold air intake, I am currently waiting for my SS intake to arrive then get a retune with the new setup.
Have you felt any change in throttle response or power gains?
Oh yeah, definitely the throttle response is much better. It also feels like it has more power as well, even with the v6 cold air intake. Tomorrow I get my SS intake in (4 inch diameter pipe vs I think the v6 is 3) so I’m going to take data logs and get a retune

Hey bro, any differences with the cold air intake? I want to get one for my 2014 camaro rs but am just thinking to go axle back borla atak and call it a day since my car already has 107000 miles
It increases throttle response a bit, also makes it sound s lot nicer

As a Camaro and Corvette owner. I will never understand why people would by a V6? They are muscle cars, they are supposed to be V8 and manual!
A modern day v6 makes more power than the v8s in even the 4th generation Camaro, while getting over 25mpg. Modern day automatic transmissions are also quicker than a manual transmission could ever be. It's not 1980 anymore.
As a grown man I will never understand why another grown man cares for what other people do with their money if they not putting the money in their pocket..like it hurts to see others buying what they like?
A V8 Camaro costs at least $10,000 more than a V6. This might mean that you are financing $30,000 instead of $20,000 for example. Your payment will be proportionately larger, say $600 instead of $400. And that is just the beginning. Higher insurance, premium fuel for the V8.... Granted, for some people, money is just insignificant numbers. For the rest of though, LOL, the latest V6s are surprisingly potent and great handling cars.
