This was my first of your My Complete Set-Up videos, and I enjoyed it. I love your videos. It's fun to think how I'll create my set up. I'm starting SUPER simple. Right now, for my pick-up (6ft bed) I have a "single person tent" which fits between the wheel wells for at night, sleeping. During the day, everything that was packed into the back of the truck to travel, will either be set up (tables, chairs, cooking apparatus, etc) or stashed in the back area of the cab. I need a rug such as what you have (at Ocean State Joblot) and something for an awning or outdoor semi-shelter/shade. Thanks for bringing us along Amanda!

We have the same van, what is that windshield cover, it looks like it fits perfect? I just picked up some "Heatshield" window coverings myself, pretty high quality. You can also pick them up at their Will Call just south of San Francisco!

I have decided if I get a memory foam mattress type bed in my van I might make it three pieces so I can rotate the foam. My foam at home starts to sink in the spots I use the most. Maybe it just means it is shot and needs to be replaced IDK I wondered if there are things to go under the foam or do they have small sping type mattresses out there? The best thing I ever slept on was a couch from the 80's Thick foam cushions.

Thanks for sharing your van setup. I’m doing research on beds, (I’m 5 ft 11” so the cot was too high for me also. I like that you left the small seat up in the back. I want to be able to take my grandkids on outings so taking the seats out isn’t an option for me. You have things set up nicely with the minimum of things. I have had a tendency to over pack and feel very uncomfortable with the limited space. Time to rethink things! 😍

Thankfully when it's that hot I can go in my house with A/C 😂 I don't camp in such hot weather. That's why I travel north in the summer.

It's very easy to enjoy camping with minimal items. Many of us have been guilty of overpacking at one point or another.

I do not. But everywhere in camp is a 14 day limit. I don't stay longer than a week in one place, anyways.
