- This van is jam packed with everything I can think from airconditioning to running water with a grey tank. It's also got a poppy located at the rear, microwave and so much more. lots of storage .

Your A/C unit will not operate very well because the air intake is right next to the exhaust. When the unit is running, it’s sucking the overheated exhaust right back into the intake, reducing the cooling capacity. The two holes have to be well separated, preferably with the opening for the exhaust higher than the opening for the intake.
Your build is really cozy and well thought out. Nicely done. 😀

Also try eco mode to help make it run longer than 3 hours. 💜
There’s a really good video on this a/c unit on tiny shiny home. They struggled with how long theirs lasted until they figured it out.
@@WandaonWheels-ej9rq Sadly, manufacturers did/do not take science into account.
However, you still can get a better exchange using the same window and cardboard idea with slightly better results.
(1) make the height of the cardboard filler about 3 inches higher allowing for greater separation of the holes
(2) cut the hole for the exhaust in the higher location, up near the doorpost(?), and cut the intake farther forward, lower down in the front curved area.
Then you will get a bit better air exchange clearance.
(This will be closer to the air exchange that someone else has suggested.)
If you rub bar soap in the groves of your slide door it will help it to slide easier.😊 Very nice setup thank you for sharing 😊

Yes, I did my first video one year ago. I was new to UA-cam and did not know the rules I guess and they removed my monetization , took away all the funds in the account . I was given three reasons in a robot reply, and was never able to contact a real human,. I decided to remove all the videos to solve the problem and restart. When I removed all the videos, I also lost all my hours. This all happened at the same time as my daughter's inquest, and it was a little more than I could handle. I had been so excited that I had found a way to occupy my mind and even earn a few dollars ....then out of nowhere it was gone. When I was younger I could bounce back faster, now it ain't so easy....that will be another video to do. I am back to the beginning now , I have to regain 4000 watch hours to reapply, the only thing they didn't take from me was my subscribers . I am happy to get another chance to do it right. ❤️

Hi, Nice to meet you Rick. The dodge caravan is a good choice for camping, not too costly to maintain, gets good gas mileage and plenty of space. I am just now going on my biggest trip to Newfoundland. Although I was born and raised there before moving to Ontario, back many times, there is so much of the province that I have yet to see. ❤️

Thank you ❤️❤️ You know I never thought about a name for the bear, just always referred to her as Renee. There were a few things she kept close to her in the two months leading up to her death, so I placed them inside the bear. This bear was a comfort to her brother who was 11 at the time of her death. Today I just dropped him off at university , time goes by so fast.

Wow this is the best Van set up I've ever seen. There's a couple things I'd like to know more about like the window over your sink how was that done to look like a regular window? It's just so cute and cozy i could definitely live in that it's so functional. Another thing is the AC is it a regular floor model AC? And what do you run it on for power and how long can you use it? I have a bigger stand up one and it cooled the whole front of my RV really good. Love the projector I've never used one before I'd definitely would want to hang out with you. I also lost a daughter sorry for your loss .
Thank you kindly...I am not great at explaining, but I will try. To make this window I joined the two lower cupboards ...this is attached to the floor.....and next I built the frame for the window but left both sides longer to reach the floor and then attached this onto the cupboard. Once it was attached to the cupboard , I could secure it to the shelves with the microwave. It's kind of like a puzzle once you start. I will remember to include the opposite side in my next video. I will upload more video in a couple once I start my adventure to Newfoundland.

Hi, Thank you, I have a jacket 1000 watt and two 100 watt panels ....it came as a unit. I purchased a second jackery as a backup. It's good on big trips as you can have one on charge while driving .
@@WandaonWheels-ej9rq did you fix your panels on your roof? I have a smaller bluetti that charges my phones, fans etc for a weekend, but isn't enough for my fridge/freezer to run. I'm just exploring panels and a bigger unit now and it's been a couple months of rabbit holes... haha so I've been a little stumped.

@@WandaonWheels-ej9rq I want one o can stand in as well but priority is low miles and solidly good mechanically and luckily I have a friend who is a mechanic and altho I offered him money for checking out any potential but he won’t take any money I’ve run three past him so far and the only one that might be a thumbs up is a diesel ford I’m not a fan of diesel but my friend says diesel will outlast a gas engine and he is a mechanic that prefers working on diesels…. He swears I’ll get a ton more miles out of a diesel than gas

Yes, I am sure I made errors by adding music etc...They were not clear exactly what it was so in the end I removed all my videos, and this caused me to lose all my hours. I will be more careful this time around. I have to get my hours back, but I am already half way there with this one video. I really enjoy doing this as it helps me through the grief. ❤️❤️. Thank you ❤️ The ecoflow is pretty much useless unless it's plugged into electrical outlet. It's heavy to move around once the battery is attached, does not charge very well on solar, or while driving. Complete waste of money.

Some great ideas you have. Although I found myself wondering how speedily you could escape or retreat into your van if a sudden bear appeared. Also became concerned if someone approached you while so much is out the van, would you be able to rush off or would you even feel like rushing off with all that stuff outside ur van. Especially such expensive items out there like your Jackery and your fridge freezer etc.
Hi, I am not too concerned with bears in the last area I was camping. I have never heard of any being there. My dog would scare anyone or things that might be lurking around. He does a good job taking care of me .

When the AC unit first came out i saw a video of a couple w same problem . Battery not lasting as advertised. The company sent an extra battery pack. That way while ones being used, other can charge. Contact them explaining your full time off grid situation, ya never no unless you try. They may nust sent you another battery also!

Thank you, I honestly would not recommend it at all. Just Three hours on a full battery that $800, crazy. You could use an electrical service at a camp ground for it, however in that case you may as well buy a $300 mobile unit from Walmart....that's actually weights less. It cost 2200 and I am trying to return it .

I am using a Google pixel , I may have had it zoomed in....I will be more mindful of this next time. I normally use a tripod, but didn't this time around.

I am glad you found me, and yes I have removed all the seats. At an age where I will travel alone, so no use for the seats.

No worry, I like talking about my daughter. She was suffering from a mental health crisis , I took her to the hospital here in Ottawa to get help, but was instead met with total disrespect for my daughter's wellbeing . They were given her drug s that were to sedative and I complained several times over a period of two days. On the third night I came home at 9:30 pm to get some sleep, Renee walked me to the door, we hugged and said our love you's told her I would be back first thing int the morning. At 7 am my phone rung, it was the doctor telling me she had been found unresponsive . After all the reports, investigation was done, it was determined they had in fact overdosed her. There was an inquest, and they were recommendations to make many changes, other than that they have accepted no responsibility. I do feel her with me all the time, she was a very spiritual girl ❤@@nataliecoe6749
