this guy gave me my life back. i just turned 39 and have no restrictions what so ever, been 6 years since the surgery. Minor soreness with excess activity but most days i forget my implant is there
I was visiting that doctor around 2 years ago and I had my right hip problem since I was 4 years and now I am 42 and I saw many many doctors in my life from diffident countries and this doctor one of the best he treats me like a Father…I am from Lancaster PA I works with Amish people and if I saw anybody with hip problem I tell them go to see doctor Thomas Gross. I did not yet have resurfacing i waiting when ceramic resurfacing will be available here in the USA and I wish my surger be doctor Thomas Gross … he is just has gift from God. Don’t believe me just visit him one and you will understand me what i am talking!)
Don't wait for the ceramic. The metal chemistry he is using has more than 20 years of proven track record and the results are exceptional. I believe he uses a cement less femoral cap which is not quite as old (proven) as the BHR, but he has excellent results with many many years of data. Either way, the metal is the same. Don't think ceramic is better, the data is not there yet and you don't want to be the guinea pig. There is no reason to seek something new when the existing solution is excellent.
@@AEVMU thank you for your answer. I think when ceramic resurfacing will available here in the USA doctor Thomas Gross will be best of the best I know it 100% great doctor with great materials:) I wish I will his first patient that he use ceramic resurfacing but I can not waiting for so long time:(
When you say swimming (in the first part of the recovery stage), are you talking about floating around, or are you talking aggressive lap swimming (flip turns, butterfly/breast stroke kicks, kicking drills)?

Hello from Rancho Mirage California 🇺🇸
When you say swimming (in the first part of the recovery stage), are you talking about floating around, or are you talking aggressive lap swimming (flip turns, butterfly/breast stroke kicks, kicking drills)?
Dear sir I'm a patient of ankylosing spondylitis and I want to hip surfacing in your hospital please guide me please
Are you comfortable with performance of hip resurfacing on active women?
Are you doing ceramic on ceramic, or ceramic on poly, or just metal on metal
