we fixed the trans so now its time to fix what is left to get this panhead back onto the road.
the linkert carb was owner rebuilt and would hardly run at all with all the back firing. its time for a check-up and a quickee refresh to see what is wrong. you see what i find as we get it up to speed.

Do you do a lot of hardened valve seat fitting on these older motors for running on unleaded ?
no, not needed most of the time.
