Nothing has changed but the moveable arm rests and the support bracket for the hood since 2006. I can order everything for the interior of a 2019 and put it in my 2006. And I mean everything. Yes, that means the dash too.
Sweet W9 and I'll call that paint Chameleon! Reminds me of the paint DuPont had years ago that changed colors depending on the angle that you was looking at it.

Best looking model for sure, why not order the truck with the Durabright rims instead those are much easier to keep shiny and and will stay shiny without additional polishing.. at least that’s my experience with them. Great video! Keep it up
HI Magnus, Durabright rims are definitely a nice option. Some customers don't want it when going on gravel as the coating can chip. You get a much brighter finish when it is a regular polish. Thanks for the comment and watching!

As an old grouchy burned out car guy who ran to the trucking business to hide from people, i can't help self but to give you some sales advice...that you didn't ask for. Lol Almost everything you pointed out in this video is standard since these trucks been around in 98. We all know it has curtians and a sofa bed etc etc. Wanna sell guys like me (owner ops who work on thier own rigs)on these trucks ? Which are also probly the target market for these trucks. Cause I'm sure most fleets dont buy them to throw company drivers in them... Tell me what's the wheel base ? Is it canda entry ready ? What's it weight with full tanks ? What's the gear ratios? Are these the same rear ends and trans as the pervious 10 year ago models ? What's the difference between this Cummins and the previous disaster they called an engine only to have low oil pressure and turbo and cam problems? Has Cummins addressed those issues ? What's the warranty ? What's the steps to keep the warranty valid ? What will void it ? Can I get an extended warranty ? Thru Cummings and Kenworth direct ? What's the kw warranty and the engine and trans and rears warranty deductable ? Do I get a loaner if it's under warranty repair ? Is there room under it to install a wet kit? Is there room under it to Installe a dry bulk blower ? And I can throw at least another 50 questions at you. But answer those and stop talking nonsese about curtians or fuel tank straps. If I'm spending 160k for a truck , you better have some answers about why its worth it and why I shouldn't just keep my old truck or why I should get yours and not just go get a glider from Fitzgerald or better yet, tell me why I should by a truck from your dealer and not the other guys across town or the other makers like Volvo or westernstar. Just giving you some talking points. I'm sure you do well selling trucks ....or not. That's your business. Mine is being a internet troll after driving 650 miles a day. But if you worked my floor , I'd have you pound those product knowledge factory books and I'd have you shadow a few techs actually working on them till you understand why that Cummins is what it is and why the old one was junk and you can build some value in it. When u say it's an engine and it's red , you glass over the most important part of that truck. I would of got into detail about that engine and pointed out all the new features it has that Volvo doesnt, detriot doesn't and not even paccar. That new Cummins is supposed to be the cats tail. But I'll let you read about it and do a video about that. If you want me to give you 160k of my money you better sell me on the idea that the truck will increase my income and keep my expenses low and most of all you better educate me on the product in such a way I'm blown away and feel you are the best of the best. I can say I've been working at CTS Kenworth for almost 14 years and been in the industry my whole life as my dad has owned trucks and sold Kenworth with me (still does). The purpose of my channel is to provide a brief overview of trucks at a very entry level and have some fun while doing it. I'd like the black interior on the 880 and 880s get better economy and when you own that all counts. I drive a 379 but when I buy I'll get a t 880. I've heard the 510 PACCAR is the way to go. And now that def has been around for a while as long as you take care of it you'll be fine. I plan on trading every five years and getting max warranty

You always have the payment but then you don't need to worry as much about issues. Like rebuilding and all the stuff that goes when they get older etc. Do you have any t880s more loaded then the black one you had with 76 " bunk that you could show me?

Andy The Kenworth Guy Your right, can't go wrong with the 86" sleeper. Plenty of room and a great layout. The 2.1 meter cabs have spoiled me. After drive a T800 and a Peterbilt 388/389 style cabs for almost 10 years the wider cabs are so much more spacious. Couldn't get me back in a narrower cab truck again. I'm surprised Kenworth doesn't have a 80"-86" sleeper for the T680. Peterbilt already has a 80" for their highway road tractors. Especially with companies going with the team driving approach. The extra space would a plus for that set up.

i would love to one day drive a W900 sadly it wont ever happen where i work. they do have one older 379 pete but its a short nose. we dont have a single W900, in fact one of the veteran drivers in the company wants a W900 but the boss wont buy him one. the guy is a great driver and he has been at it 40 years, he is driving an older international eagle long nose.
Not to Bad. I like the classic outside but not that old school diamond interior. Kenworth, It's outdated. Looking at buying and the 680 is much nicer inside. More comfortable, it's larger, and more storage. User friendly. But just one Dumb f...'s opinion we all have am and lots of am out there. But that's a good thing we all are different. The body style of the new Mack is bad Ass. But I must have a Kenworth.
Nice 900L...should gotten the locking fuel caps from factory much cheaper $ than over the parts counter,... no fun when the truck stop fuel bandit strikes .
Dinoxt12 I believe they have the anti theft inserts like my t800 does. That being said I wish it was lockingxaps instead of the insterts as it makes in a pain to fill sometimes.
I would still prefer the flat glass but question you say you can custom things what do you mean are you able to ask the builders to add extra items ??? I see nothing in your website saying you could custom a little info on this on the video would be great bth great video, I couldn't see the dash the sun is in the way just a tip

Would be a really great truck if it did not have DEF but considering that it does expect a break down within a few hundred miles. Also the color is ok would have looked better with purple,red or black color
These trucks are so easy to work on, they require less man hours to repair compared to other trucks. You'll never have a warranty claim or even a check engine light! And then you'll wake up....

If I can recall correctly, the premise then was to keep the fridge low in case something sprung a leak or melted, then it wouldn't run down all over everything. The Aerodyne was amazingly ahead of its time - raised roof, Vista windows, bunk.control.panel, available invertor and shore power options ... Plus the nicest looking interior and exterior ever produced (Aerodyne 1 on W900A/B and K100C/E)
*black interior definitely by far the best i've seen thus far, but nothing screams more luxury like alcantara, you should really start using that stuff, also, a man sitting in a seat all day, probably wants a ventilated seat for his ass, not a leather sweatbox, ass radiates heat, if there's leather under there's nowhere for that heat to go but bake ones ass. Seat should be the most important part of the truck. Also where the hell is the 120V outlet, my moms SUV has several, come on, you guys should hire me as a designer manager...assistant, ill tell you what everyone wants*

Nice interior, but I'm still favoring the space and all with the T680. Still like the classic look and all with some current styling of the W9.

We can provide either anti siphon devises or locking caps. The anti siphon devises are standard.

There are several 12v power outlets in the cab and sleeper.

It’s a location Kenworth has used for years. The new T680/T880 has it a little higher off the floor.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy decades - when the Aerodyne was first introduced in 1976. If I can recall correctly, the premise then was to keep the fridge low in case something sprung a leak or melted, then it wouldn't run down all over everything.
The Aerodyne was amazingly ahead of its time - raised roof, Vista windows, bunk.control.panel, available invertor and shore power options ... Plus the nicest looking interior and exterior ever produced (Aerodyne 1 on W900A/B and K100C/E)

*black interior definitely by far the best i've seen thus far, but nothing screams more luxury like alcantara, you should really start using that stuff, also, a man sitting in a seat all day, probably wants a ventilated seat for his ass, not a leather sweatbox, ass radiates heat, if there's leather under there's nowhere for that heat to go but bake ones ass. Seat should be the most important part of the truck. Also where the hell is the 120V outlet, my moms SUV has several, come on, you guys should hire me as a designer manager...assistant, ill tell you what everyone wants*
The new cab has it all engineered into it. 120V outlets, heated and cooled leather seats. The t680, t880 and new w990 have it.

The W990 is the updated interior. Kenworth won’t change the older cab designs at this point. All the new changes will be on the W990.
