THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO. I AM HAVING THIS EPSON L1455 PRINTER AT MY SHOP AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE COST TO REPLACE THE MAINTENANCE BOX. HOW EASILY YOU HAVE SHOWN. THANX ONCE AGAIN.
Does anyone knows how to make a factory reset to this Epson L1455 Model. This is because I change the administrator password and then I forgot it. So I can't access administrator properties.
Not really, if you ever had a printer for a long time or have done a lot of head cleans, the printer eventually 'dies' and refuses to work. There is an internal sponge plate left open to atmosphere inside the printer itself. This causes some issues if you have recently cleaned the printer head and gone to move it, ever wonder where all that ink leaks from after moving the printer around? Even though the ink mostly evaporates, after a set amount of cycles it declares itself 'full' and bricks the printer. Replacing these is usually not possible. What Epson have done here is turn that part into a consumable rather then a integral bit of the machine. So after say, 50 cleaning cycles you can replace the box and the printer will go on to work. Having said that... its a box... with a sponge inside... Epson HUGELY overcharge for this.

Use a resetter for the box T6711 / PXMB3 easy buy it online around 20 USD a good one!
Yeah the maintenance box Doesn't get full it's a Epson shame to get money. That's why if you don't print pictures you are better off buying a HP.

Why in the hell is there a maintenance box in the first place? So Epson can make more money? Bad design.

Just another unnecessary part they can soak more money out of you to replace
