When we stay at Disney World hotels I feel like I'm missing out on the amenities and the theming because I'm so tired from being in the theme parks the entire day from open the clothes we don't even get to use most of the amenities or see all of it. So Universal not doing all that in the hotels is just fine with me. I feel so much more relaxed like I'm not missing out on anything when I stay at Universal hotel. And I will pay so much extra to be in the back of the park hotel just for the convenience of it especially if it also gets free express like the other 3 hotels!!
When I was at Universal last year, our room was on the 9th floor of the Dockside hotel at Endless Summer Resort, and we had a view of the Hogwarts castle
It is really immersive how they continue to expand on the wizarding world
Kinda wish they'd just found a way to put ministry of magic at USF. Then you would've had two E-tickets and the needed expansion in London/Diagon Alley and the location of MoM makes obvious sense there within the wizarding world. For moneymaking purposes though I can understand why they'd wanna include another wizarding world land with a brand new park. Haha.
I kinda wish they had not built the Hard Rock resort so they could have expanded USF into a bigger park.
I think I remember hearing that the ride would’ve been much smaller in scale if placed in USF. This gave universal the ability to be as ambitious as they wanted.
The more I look at the map of the entire Epic Universe area, the more it looks like Lockheed Martin is being surrounded by them. Maybe they’re living on borrowed time.
Could they build and indoor / outdoor Rollercoaster with the trains built with individual broomsticks in the extension area?
It would be so cool to have a quidditch version too!!!😱😱😱
They have a lot of space back there. If needed for the right idea, they could even cut into the expansion pad next to it.
Alicia we stayed at dockside last week and noticed the adjacent I-drive grand is boarded up. I believe it’s on kirkman road. I wonder if universal might be doing an expansion?
One thing that worries me about epic universe--will there be enough rides? Hub sounds great but a theme park needs rides! Only 2 things in harry potter area with all that land? Only three in all of nintendo? Isn't hollywood studios big complaint they need more rides. Sure, it will look great but hope they have enough rides to match it or we may be in some long lines with less rides to pick from. Sounds like dragon will have the most out of all the lands.
I think there's gonna be around 15 attractions at Epic Universe
I guess you guys don’t remember when Ollivanders opened it was an interactive experience. The line was for a show where the would pick a kid and give them wands to try out and it would make the boxes shake if it was the wrong fit. I forgot what it would if it was the right fit. But that was what the line was for. You could just bypass the line and go into the store.
Love this show, just wish there were some visuals or at least show us you guys while recording the show!
This is an hour long segment.. Editing the audio alone takes a substantial amount of time.. I added some visuals to try to help but I will continue to refine and tweak to see what I can do.. One answer is to cut the show to be 15-20 minutes again but again, I'll keep thinking so I appreciate the feedback
So instead of the glowing faces of Elsa and Buzz, it’ll be Constance Hatchaway and the singing busts. I remember the singing bust effect being really convincing as a kid, but now not so much. And Constance never looked good. I think Madam Leota and Hat Box Ghost are the only times when a projected face worked. And those are still rear projection
I believe the new projection mapping animatronocs won't ONLY be mapped on faces...
Feom what I have read, aniamtr9 ic faces will be enhanced wirh mapping to malw thr faces look even more accurate than they already are. I donr believe this will be needed foe every animatronic either. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens, but I am definitely skeptical, and 100 percent against replacing traditional animatronics for sure.
All I want is for someone to use a time turner to send us back to Dumby vs Voldy. Idgaf what else is in it as long as they have that

Lord of the Rings would have been much more interesting and exciting. There's already more than enough from the Potterverse at the other parks.
Lord of the Rings is grand but personally it's hard to see how they would do a ride or a land for it to me

Nah lord of the rings isn’t all that exciting lol. If it was they would have made a land for it instead of how to train a dragon and mind you lord of the rings isn’t even geared toward kids. Never once met a child that even knows what LOTR is even about
The Wizarding world is just perfect for immersive theme park. They can keep building new potter lands for decades to come and they'll still be popular.
It's not that easy. Tolkien/LOTR is hard to get the rights to, whereas WB and Universal already had a firm partnership.
One of the channels that follows the construction updates thinks we'll get a French Diagon Alley and the British Ministry. Idk if that was Theme Park Stop or not
Meh. They should have just do the ministry of magic, the burrow and maybe Azkaban. I have zero interest for wizarding Paris.
As soon as the rumors came out that they were changing the area to the British Ministry of Magic but still going to keep the Parisian facade, I lost hope for this area. Even if they can easily explain it through a flood powder sort of entrance, the potential immersion feels broken to me and thus this area is the one I am least looking forward to. And each bit for info on it, even if it would normally excite me, just makes me less and less interested
It wasn't a change. The land was always designed as the British Ministry ride inside and Wizarding Paris outside, we just didn't hear about it until later. But the earliest site plans clearly show the shape of the Ministry's atrium and fireplace Floo Network entry, even from before the park was announced.
