You have given us an exquisite vocal and performance, my good friend; as I said, a special treat. There's a warmth and mellowness in your voice that suits this song perfectly. Thank you, Robin 😊 I remember my mother singing it when I was young- she had the same gravelly tones as me 😁 And the majority of my wardrobe is autumnal colours so the chances of wearing red red wine was high 🍷 😂

Was just over visiting your channel (Subbed now 😊) and can't leave a comment but loved the Mark Lanegan Open Mic performance! He was a huge influence on me as I started out- his music still is 🙌
@@catherinemccrystal9391 He wasn't huge of an influence for me AT FIRST. But...as time went on, somewhere around 97'? 98" I got Whickey... and Winding Sheet? WOW...just...mind BLOWN. I love how he can take 2-3 chords and KEEP IT INTERSTING ANDCHANGING?? can't really do that. But I don't consider myself a singer?? I'd rather be backup singer and rhythm guitarist. Maybe the drummer or bass player?? I don't likebeing out front, but often no one else will do it? So, I end up singing for bands (I don't really like my voie). I did that open mic because I had gone a week or 2 prior? And the guy I went to perform with was DRUNK and tried to KICK the soud guy?? I HAD to go back and basically say "THIS is what SHOULD have happened...that was one of the first ties I hung out with him and I DON'T HANG OUT WITH THAT GUY ANYMORE...have a good night!" :) Sorry for all of this to read...I don't really like small talk Thank you for the compliment, too! :) CGG
