- KEMP POWERS INTERVIEW | Double Toasted - Both Soul and One Night In Miami were two movies that we at Double Toasted absolutely loved! We now have Kemp Powers here to discuss his works, that we know his wife, son, and Pixar family must be very proud of as we discuss the man that's worked on The Moth, Star Trek Discovery, had success as a rising playwright, worked alongside Mike Jones, and more! Whether religion has you not enjoying the movie Soul, or something else holding you back from it, it's one of the first of it's kind and we discuss that, and a lot more during this interview, and much more of his incredible works!

Great interview!
This was great, Kemp felt very comfortable with you and was very real about how he felt.
Such a great interview man! I highly recommend watching Kemp’s episode on Disney+ of “Inside Pixar”. Just a little insight and visual representation of how he works and his process with working on Soul. Great interview and love from the UK 👌🏻👌🏻

I'm not gonna front. I like lion king, but I'm still mad that Disney does not have an African princess. Not even an Egyptian one?
When you say African, do you mean black, because Egyptian does not equal Black.
@@jaymann5180 that was my point. Egyptian people are off-black and off-white. I imagine that Disney would have tried to get some 'black' credit by having an Egyptian princess, but it would be misleading because Egypt is a very different subpopulation of Africa
@@Lerkero Yeah, I agree. I mean, Charlize Theron and Elon Musk are African, but they are not black.
@@jaymann5180 there European who grow up in Africa but there not afrcans.
