I was able to see him perform a lot of these solo songs before this album was released. He was by himself playing different instruments depending on the song. It was the most emotional show I've ever been to. He's been my favorite music artist since the 90s when his hard rock band Godsmack came out. I've seen Godsmack 5 times and seen him solo once. One of the best when it comes to live performances

"Tribal" is the only word I can ever find to describe Sully's work be it solo or with Godsmack. Given his pagan / wiccan beliefs it makes sense. He's very in tune with the earth.
Previously I knew Erna only as the singer of the band Godsmack. Didn't know his solo work until now and I am very pleasantly surprised. Will surely listen to more of his solo work now. Thank you!

Two very different vibes. The band is much heavier where his solo work is more like this
I've been lucky enough to see Sully live twice now (would've been three, but Godsmack skipped the Netherlands last year on their tour), once solo like this and once with Godsmack. His solo concert impressed me even more than Godsmack did. Near the end he did a song from his last album, Falling To Black, with a backscreen where all kinds of artists who passed away appeared one by one, with their photo and dates of birth / death. From classics like Freddie Mercury, Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin, to Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington (those two died months before the concert) and George Michael. It was a very emotional performance.
If you wanna react to more of his solo stuff (there's not a whole lot), give Differend Kind Of Tears, Broken Road, My Light and Avalon a go 🙂

Nice piece of music, quite relaxing! As regards the genre, I would put it as Contemporary; I too get a feeling of sadness from it, their vocals together are very pleasing and the vibe the musicians have is also very good.Nice reaction and comments, liked it ❤
