@@Lazc8 you cut all the stupid shit out and stayed on topic. You showed people how to install without videoing yourself doing it. Clean, cut and simple. The other guys spend 30 minutes talking
I thought this was unnecessary because the stock air filter is huge and open with a bunch of rushing air going to the engine and the legmaker is smaller in comparison, but i guess i was wrong - seeing how much louder the legmaker intake makes the supercharger whine - which means more air is flowing to the supercharger
These are really for sound. Stock intake isn't open ended although bigger. But stock intake also stops heat soak and doesn't pull hot air. Although the hood(red-eye hood) and headlight should provide plenty cool air. All in all it's the same shit. Just louder love my LMI
Great video my friend! Just bought a hellcat Durango brand new. Would this be a good choice for my car? Also, does this void the warranty? Thanks so much.
Can you post another video from outside or a flyby? I have A 2020 need to hear it from outside before I pull the trigger and maybe also if you can rev it some
How is the intake holding up? Just bought this for my redeye. Also i noticed on another video you put a cover over you filter. Is that needed and where did you buy it from.
In which video did I put a cover? Don’t recall. The Legmaker comes with a sleeve you can put over the filter for 2019+, but I never used it. Zero issues with it thus far
Did you notice the temp drop at all ? I've been considering getting one for my Challenger as well, and was looking at them earlier on their online store. Was kinda pleasantly surprised that they're made for Mopar only, and is awesome to see good aftermarket support for our girls. My SRT8 already had an aFe CAI when I bought it and is decent, but this looks like a much better set up than the norm and is a very innovative product
Krazy SRT8 it’s a really great looking intake. I don’t think temps dropped much maybe on the highway with a ton of air coming through hood/headlight. For the Hellcats these make proven gains but not sure about NA
I love legmaker kits. I just got a redeye and I notice that the factory kit still shows air intake temps of 120-130* even with ambient air temps of 85* My Daytona 392 always ran within 6-7* with the Mopar cold air kit. Does this bring those intake temps down? Great video BTW
Thanks man. Actually the temp it’s right around the same as stock I remember correctly from this last drive I went on. I’ll check again. The real difference is amount of air (people did back to back testing and gained mph) and it looks/sounds beautiful
Depends. For 15-18 absolutely. For 19+ with the updated intake that comes OEM, it’s slightly louder and echoes much more so IMO yes. Just not as drastic since the 19+ oem intake is much better than previous
The difference in exhaust sound after the install is amazing
Tate Pryce shoots flames now too
@@Lazc8 does it really though I just ordered one
@@TheHornetStings well did it? LOL
@@ScarletGuts not that I saw haha
Was there a way for you to keep the airbox since its functional with the hood to keep the engine temp from being sucked in?
The difference is really noticeable. Sound great.
lightningblue5.0 thanks. A little harder to tell the difference in video but it echoes like crazy
The only video that was good that i could find.
Happy to help

That’s exactly why I make these videos. They spend 30 minutes talking about a 10 minute install
Just bought one for my Redeye. Thanks for the tutorial video that will help with install!
Of course! Couldn’t find one myself so figured it might help someone. If you have any questions lmk

Now you got rain coming into your filter….zero gains unless you tuned it afterwards
I was watching this video and realized at the 5:24 mark that it was shot in MG 2 minutes away.
I know this video is a little old, but did your air/fuel ratio gauge always jump around like that or only after the intake?
Great video. Are the intake temps higher with the intake?
Not really. When stationary a bit. When moving ist cools down much faster.
Wouldn’t higher temps at stand still be good for gas mileage. Then when you Get going it should cool?
Great video!
Can you post another video from outside or a flyby? I have A 2020 need to hear it from outside before I pull the trigger and maybe also if you can rev it some
Andrew James I’ll post up a short compilation video soon of outside/fly-by/POV
Nice man! Did you leave the Cover off? Or did you put it in after the install?
Thanks! No cover for the 2019+. Dual snorkel hood is functional and channels air directly to the intake, covering it would just block out all that air
I’m waiting for my Redeye Charger any day now. Wondering if the whine increase alone is worth it
100% worth it for that alone. But also proven to add some power via 1/2 mile testing
What about the air temp sensor packing?
Oh hell. 🤤

@@Lazc8 on your catch can install the filter looks black instead of red but I guess maybe because its dirty? Thought maybe it looked like. Cover.
Ah it must’ve been on there just to see what it looks like 😂 They recommend it if you daily drive the car, I never used it
Any link to Amazon ?

Will that same lmi work on a 2020 challenger scat pack?
Darrell McCullum they make one specifically for a scat
@@Lazc8 ok cool, I'm a have to check them out. Thanks!
Darrell McCullum np 👍🏼
Would this work for a 2020 Dodge Challenger hellcat?
Yeah should be the exact same as mine
