I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

The interesting about the Night Walk palette is that you could surprisingly get a more neutral subtle daybook along with the obvious silvery night/party look simply by using the gold middle colour as your base instead of the silver colour. if you were to use the middle gold colour above your crease, blending with a round fluffy brush, you will get a soft muted colour, then if you were to use that same colour with a different brush, like a flat brush (I used Sonia G Builder Pro Brush) and applied it by packing it on all over your mobile lid, you will notice the colour now appears to be different, more like a glaze. This base now lends itself to a more neutral look for day. If you were next to continue with the smallest amount of the darkest colour on the outer v of the eye, blended out to subtly deepen the eye, the look could be worn for the day. By dabbing a bit of the lightest colour, (which is actually more creamy than white) with your finger on the middle of the eye, you have more of a neutral. evening glamorous look without using the silver tones, which can seem more limiting.
For a second, more cool toned look using the silvers of the palette, I used the top left pale silver colour just above the crease line with a fluffy brush, then using the deeper silver shade (bottom left) for the outer third of the eye, I blended it into that soft lighter colour. Just like the warmer, more neutral look I suggested, I used the deepest dark grey colour (bottom right) placed in the outer v for emphasis. I finished by dabbing the lighter silver colour I initially used above the crease but this time I used a flat brush and placed the colour from the inner to middle mobile lid. And for an even more dramatic look, a dabbed that light creamy white (top right) in the middle of the lid with my finger.
So, if you were one of the people who receive Night Walk by mistake, and who like me, initially thought this palette looked limiting and a little intimidating, by playing with the shades as I described, you would be surprised to find how versatile this palette can be. The safer bet was perhaps seemed the Promenade Doré, but the more interesting and versatile was the Night Walk received in error.
I was pleasantly surprised by the liquid lipstick. It adds that extra oomph for special occasions. And that lipstick case!!! 🤩
That silver nighttime look is just - wow! And I rarely wear silver - but I think I would love that!!
With the darker eye shadow palette you look like you walked out off the Robert Palmer Addicted to Love video, stunning. The blush looks so lit from within. Another belter of a review video.

This collection would have stolen my heart in 2014. These color stories were my jam. I didn't use matte anything, not eyeshadow, nothing. The daytime palette was what I wore for everything. A bright, bold, sparkly red lip was what I wore to go out. Part of me still loves these, and I might get the two lipsticks.
I love to see you use that I pallets but switch up the inner corner I don't know why they did that know I do know why because they want people to buy both

I am blown away over the lip 💋 wish they made a hot holiday pink for a holiday party . I have Galactic from last year and the diff is a deep mocha chocolate with the black , white, silver and a neutral golden nude. Which I'll do for tomorrow at work.

I would love to see the new backstage palette - Silver Essentials - it looks beautiful. I preferred the shade of the blush as it shows on the website. This shade is similar to a couple they have released before so thank you for helping me to save some money on it! However not for long because I cannot wait to get my hands on the new Chanel holiday palette and highlighter!! ❤

hmmm didn't think id like the night pallet but i like it!
I think that was smart for them to put silver in one and gold and the other as quote contrast but really making you want to buy both so your looks can be cohesive

Can I observe that Nightwalk is better than ND’s new mini? It is a gorgeous cool neutral palette.
Everything looks really nice! I will pick the lipstick case up, the pure copper lip maximizer and maybe one of the liquid lipsticks. The golden palette is not for me, and the other one gives a similar look to last year's cooler palette, which I already own. I loved last year's blush, even though I have fair skin, and constantly receive compliments on it when I wear it. This year's is too similar to other blushes I own, although beautiful.

Dior Backstage always was my favorite over the quints. And now that they did away with the silly primer I am ecstatic ❤. I also cannot wait for the Silver based ND Xenon to drop as well. So tired of warm brown, rose & gold holiday drops. Blah, and yawn. I am in cool tone gal heaven. I wish PML would get over her Rose, hold, and amber fetish already & join the fun. Finally buying again. Whos next? 😅
I think that both the eyeshadow palettes are dupe-able from palettes I have already so I am going to skip it all. The blusher looks lovely but I have enough blusher already. A couple of years ago I probably would have bought both eyeshadow palettes but I have so much now it's only worth buying if I think something is amazing. I recently bought the Makeup by Mario Ethereal palette because it has been on my wishlist since it came out.
I think the blush looks a little muddy and patchy.
