- Lok Sabha Election 2024: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, speaking at an election rally in Uttar Pradesh's Raebareli, criticized Prime Minister Modi's lack of direct engagement with the public, contrasting it with the approach of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Priyanka Gandhi stated, "We have not seen PM Modi among the public in the last 10 years." Priyanka Gandhi highlighted Modi's tendency to address the crowd from his vehicle without interacting directly. Priyanka Gandhi questioned his understanding of public issues, stating, "If he doesn't listen to 'Janta ki mann ki baat' but only says his own 'Mann ki baat', then how will he know about the problems being faced by the public." Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also accused the BJP of engaging in divisive politics based on Hindu-Muslim tensions.
