A few more mods I recommend: 1) Hood Struts. 2) LED interior lights and LED back-up lights. 3) Exhaust Tip Extenders, 4) Stainless Steel Wing Nut battery tie downs (the nuts can be a pain) Wing Nuts are easier 4) Adding synthetic suede sheets to cover the rear dash plastic covers (it reduces annoying glare) 5) Wide angle side view mirrors (gives much better visibility). These are just a few of my inexpensive mods
For around 22-25$ you can get a ready-to-fit fake Alcantara sheet to cover A pillars. It looks really good and very easy to stick it on. That's may fav. mod so far :)
hey im from island too please give me recommendations for roads to drive! i love tantalus of course, i also like auloa road and the coast by sea life park. any where else with windy roads? thanks :)
Howzit? 🤙 Tantalus and Auloa are the curviest and the sealife area most gorgeous as you know. I like to also drive a loop going north past Dole (chill, scenic) then head west to the stop sign, then head up Snake Road (803) towards Wahiawa. Snake's hill climb feel and fast sweepers are fun for sure! The map views don't do it justice...it has two really great winding sections.
I just got a '23 BRZ and have been searching for all kinds of interior mods/cosmetics. I think the red brz logo on the floormats add a subtle but really cool look. Any websites or brands you suggest I should keep an eye out for for my brz?
Hey congrats on the BRZ! How you liking it so far? I've bought many parts out of Japan via Blackhawk Japan. The exchange rate really favors these buys (for now). Aside from them, Import Image Racing is a BRZ/86 Facebook group sponsor so I'll get items from them too. Fast shipping to Hawaii keeps me coming back. 🤙
@@KonkrRoads It's my first manual car ever (I didnt know how to drive manual when I bought it but I decided to take on the challenge) Driving manual in a condense city like mine (Miami) can be a headache but I've learned to appreciate the engagement and absolutely love my car. Thanks for the recommendations! One quick question: I saw your video of adding the plaid design on your door panels. Did you have to disconnect the car battery before disconnecting all the wiring/components of the door panel? I'm new to modifications so I just want to make sure I take the necessary precautions.
@@Jaydeified learning manual in a big city is courageous! I like it 💪🤙. I didn't disconnect the battery when pulling the door cards, but it's safe insurance if you wanted to. You thinking about adding some fabric to the doors? Any other mods?
@@KonkrRoads I have the Limited version so I have some alcantara already but I'd love to add it on the door panels like you have. I think of going maybe some dark purple or navy blue since I like subtle and cool tone colors. As for other mods, I want to focus on cosmetics first since I cant wait to make this car a one of one in terms of looks but eventually Ill likely add a turbo just for that extra bit of power and of course the iconic stutututu sound haha. I'm coming from driving a corolla for almost 9 years so the power the BRZ has stock is enough for me to have some fun for a while.

Here's the A/C vents I have: www.eightyzips.com/shop/p/m5s1scmpjlnjkjcj329wjylhddig2a These are not cheap -- 70% of the cost is in new OEM vents, the remaining is the gorgeous alcantara wrap. I’ll have to look into those mods -- thanks for the ideas 🤙. The suede on the rear dash is genius; where'd you pick up the fabric?
Great video! It’s probably over covered at this point but changing the LEDs made a huge difference for me
I've got to give LEDs a try -- do you ever find them too bright?
